*7 REASONS WHY EVERY BELIEVER SHOULD PAY THEIR TITHES — PART 6*

*Introduction*

Some weeks ago, we considered the first reason out of the 7 reasons why every believer should pay their tithes.

The following week, we looked at the second reason.

Then, we dwelt on the third reason.

Later on, we dealt with the fourth reason.

After that, we looked at the first part of the fifth reason.

Next, we continued with the second segment of the fifth reason.

Later, we completed the fifth reason with its third segment.

Now, God willing, we want to deal with the sixth reason.

That first reason mentioned was — *REASON 1: TITHES STARTED BEFORE THE LAW; WERE EFFECTIVE AND REINFORCED UNDER THE LAW; AND CONTINUES AFTER THE LAW – UNDER GRACE*

The second reason was — *REASON 2: TITHES BELONG TO GOD.*

The third reason was — *REASON 3: REFUSING TO PAY YOUR FULL TITHES & OFFERINGS TO YOUR LOCAL CHURCH MEANS YOU ARE A THIEF STEALING GOD'S MONEY/RESOURCES*

The fourth reason was —
*REASON 4. ALL THIEVES, INCLUDING THOSE REFUSING TO PAY TITHES AND OFFERINGS & THOSE PASTORS OR CHURCH LEADERS WHO ARE SITTING ON EVERYTHING WRONGLY AS THEIR OWN WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN*

The fifth reason was — *REASON 5: THERE ARE GENUINE WITNESSES ESTABLISHING THE TRUTH*

Now, the sixth reason is — *REASON 6: THERE ARE PIECES OF EVIDENCE FROM "HEAVEN AND HELL TESTIMONIES" THAT NON-PAYMENT OF TITHES AND OFFERINGS HAS ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES*

*Preface*

First, I will like to warn us all to be extremely careful what we say about people who have had heaven and/or hell encounters granted by God's grace and mercy because Jesus admonished: *36 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for EVERY CARELESS WORD THEY SPEAK,37 FOR BY YOUR WORDS YOU WILL BE JUSTIFIED, AND BY YOUR WORDS YOU WILL BE CONDEMNED* (Matthew 12:36-37 ESV).

He also warned: *“DO NOT JUDGE OTHERS, AND GOD WILL NOT JUDGE YOU; DO NOT CONDEMN OTHERS, AND GOD WILL NOT CONDEMN YOU; forgive others, and God will forgive you* (Luke 6:37 GNT).

Second, when Jesus told them the story of Lazarus in Abraham's bosom and the rich man in hell, the latter requesting that Lazarus be sent to his father's house, but what was Abraham's reply?

Luke 16:27-31 KJV
*Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: [28] For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. [29] Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. [30] And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. [31] And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, THOUGH ONE ROSE FROM THE DEAD.*

Let's see the last two verses in another version: *30 But he answered, No, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent (change their minds for the better and heartily amend their ways, with abhorrence of their past sins). 31 He said to him, If they do not hear and listen to Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded and convinced and believe [even] IF SOMEONE SHOULD RISE FROM THE DEAD* (Luke 16:30-31 AMPC).

The expression: *... THOUGH ONE ROSE FROM THE DEAD* or *... IF SOMEONE SHOULD RISE FROM THE DEAD* in verse 31 above speaks of possibility of someone rising from the dead.

But, the entire verse 31 indicates that those who would not heed God's warning through the Scriptures written by Moses and the prophets would not heed His warning through anyone who rises from the dead, either!

Why?

It's because whatever anyone who rises from the dead comes to tell mankind must agree with what the Scriptures say!

For example, after Jesus had died and risen from the dead, He appeared to His disciples speaking God's mind about God's kingdom.

Acts 1:3 GNT
*For forty days after his death he appeared to them many times in ways that proved beyond doubt that he was alive. They saw him, and he talked with them about the Kingdom of God.*

Acts 1:3 NLT
*During the forty days after his crucifixion, he appeared to the apostles from time to time and proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. On these occasions he talked to them about the Kingdom of God.*

Later, He told John: *I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death* (Revelation 1:18 KJV).

(The story of Lazarus and the rich man was not a parable, but reality.)

Very importantly, we must judge all testimonies of heaven and hell by the Scriptures and by God's Spirit.

Psalm 119:89 KJV
*For ever, O Lord , THY WORD IS SETTLED IN HEAVEN.*

John 10:35 KJV
*... and THE SCRIPTURE CANNOT BE BROKEN;*

Jesus said: *"He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: THE WORD THAT I HAVE SPOKEN, THE SAME SHALL JUDGE HIM IN THE LAST DAY"* (John 12:48 KJV).

2 Timothy 3:16-17 AMPC
*16 Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action), 17 So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.*

Third, Paul wrote about a man (Bible scholars believe he was referring to himself) who was caught up to the third heaven and heard inexpressible things that no one is permitted to tell others; but John, was given revelations that he was permitted to tell others (see the Book of Revelation 1 to 22).

And in that Book of Revelation, he wrote about heaven and hell. (He also wrote about death and hell being cast into the lake of fire).

2 Corinthians 12:1-4 NIV
*1 I must go on boasting. Although there is nothing to be gained, I will go on to VISIONS AND REVELATIONS FROM THE LORD. 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to THE THIRD HEAVEN. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know —God knows. 3 And I know that this man —whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows — 4 was caught up to PARADISE and HEARD INEXPRESSIBLE THINGS, THINGS THAT NO ONE IS PERMITTED TO TELL.*

Revelation 1:10-11,19 KJV
*I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, [11] Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. [19] Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;*

Now, let's consider the sixth reason why every believer should pay their tithes.

*REASON 6: THERE ARE PIECES OF EVIDENCE FROM "HEAVEN AND HELL TESTIMONIES" THAT NON-PAYMENT OF TITHES AND OFFERINGS HAS ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES*

Personally, I extracted the first 4 testimonies below about 8 or 9 years ago, but, I got the remaining 6 testimonies below from an article recently.

*i. Park Yong Gyu*

Park Yong Gyu, pastor of a mega Church in Korea said he saw many pastors, elders and deacons in hell. But the angel of the Lord explained that they went to hell for reasons like: NOT KEEPING SUNDAYS HOLY, *NOT PAYING TITHES PROPERLY,* NOT PRAYING, NOT EVANGELIZING, CRITICIZING THE PASTORS' SERMONS, REBELLION AGAINST PASTORS' AUTHORITY. [But they did not repent on their death beds].

1 John 5:17 KJV
*All unrighteousness is sin:..*

Proverbs 28:13 KJV
*He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.*

Revelation 21:27 NIV
*Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.*

*ii. Ricardo Cid from Chile*

Jesus told Ricardo Cid from Chile, *"But in my Church there are many thieves who steal my tithes and offerings! Tell my people that no thief will enter my kingdom in heaven!"*

*iii. Sandra from Colombia (one of the seven Colombian youths) saw hell*

The seven Colombian youths got to a place in hell (according to one of them named Sandra) where there were thousands of men and women [and probably boys and girls] with each of them having a metal plate on their chest reading, *" I AM HERE FOR NOT GIVING TITHES AND OFFERINGS."*

*iv. Angelica Zambrano*

On her 2nd visit to hell, Angelica Zambrano from Ecuador saw a Christian leader in hell who had wrongly believed that all tithes and offerings in the church was for the pastors.

So, he was guilty of stealing God's money to sustain himself by either not giving such to God or taking it from the Church wrongfully, unlawfully or greedily unto himself!

Deuteronomy 26:12-16 (NKJV) says, *"When you have finished laying aside all the tithe of your increase in the third year—the year of tithing—and have given it to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, so that they may eat within your gates and be filled, then you shall say before the Lord your God: ‘I have removed the holy tithe from my house, and also have given them to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, according to all Your commandments which You have commanded me; I have not transgressed Your commandments, nor have I forgotten them. I have not eaten any of it when in mourning, nor have I removed any of it for an unclean use, nor given any of it for the dead. I have obeyed the voice of the Lord my God, and have done according to all that You have commanded me. Look down from Your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless Your people Israel and the land which You have given us, just as You swore to our fathers, “a land flowing with milk and honey.”*

I wish to add some details of Angelica's testimony above from the article I read recently.

That Christian leader in hell told her:

*I was a Christian leader, for 20 years I had known Christ, but during the 20 years I said: all that money from my tithing and offerings were just to sustain the pastors, but I regret it because I now know that it wasn’t for them, it was for the Lord, and that is why I say I have stolen from God”*

*At this very moment there are many people on Earth that are robbing the Lord like I did. When you return to Earth, tell all those people who don’t want to give their tithes and offerings, not to steal from the Lord, otherwise, they’ll wind up in Hell, and no thief will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.*

*I knew the Holy Word, now I regret it and realize I robbed the Lord.” (Malachi 3:8) “Tell the people when they give to God, give the Lord with true love.” (2 Corinthian 9:7).*

*This man kept pleading, “Lord forgive me”, and the Lord replied, “It is too late, there is no opportunity for you."*

*“I asked the man, “But why did you rob God, why? You knew very well we cannot steal God’s tithes and offerings.”*

*He answered, “Yes, I knew very well, but never did follow it, I never did because I was a very proud man.” Don’t ever steal from the Lord, give your tithes and offerings to God because what we give the Lord on Earth it is not for men. When we give to God with all our heart, it is for the King of kings and Lord of lords.”*

Very importantly, as stated earlier, I got the next 6 testimonies from an article.

The article is titled: *The Reason Why None Payment Of Tithe Will Send Christian To Hell* published on September 8, 2019 by admin.

*v. Laura Wanma*

Laura wanma (Lala) was a 12-year-old girl from Indonesia.

In her hell encounter, she acknowledged: *"... And we went on, then I saw a lot of people being tortured, and Jesus said to me: “These people were not faithful with the Tithe.”*

*vi. Choo Thomas*

Choo Thomas admitted in her testimony: *"The Lord showed and told me clearly that whoever doesn’t tithe will not see His face because they love money more than Him. The tithe is 10 percent of whatever your “gross pay” is, “not net pay.”*

*God doesn’t need our money, but He wants every believer to bring the tithe to His house so the church can do God’s work. Offerings are love gifts for the needy and a giving of thanks to God’s house and different areas of ministry. All of God’s work requires money.*

*Anyone who is able to do these things faithfully will be blessed by Almighty God the most because it is obedience and shows love. These two things are very important commands of God. If you truly want to be with Jesus forever in heaven and have a blessed life while you are on this earth.*

*Please pay close attention to what the Lord says. I have a responsibility to write the truth of God’s words. I wrote this as clearly as I can so new believers and some Christians who are confused about the tithe and offering can fully understand”*

*The Lord told me clearly that: “The only ones who will go there (Heaven) are the obedient and pure-hearted children. Tell my Children to preach the gospel. I am coming soon for those who are waiting and ready for Me.”* 

*The Lord added “Those who don’t Tithe are disobedient children”. Should I tell this to anyone Lord? Choo asked. “I want you to tell it to everyone. Write down everything I show you and tell you” said the Lord.*

*And … “Any Christian who doesn’t tithe will not be blessed because they love money more than my word. Those who love money more than my Word will never see my Kingdom. You already know where they [will] be at the end,*

*If anyone comes to me with an open heart and tries to live with my words, they will be blessed right away, and they will have peace and joy continually. Whoever loves me and wants me to bless them must have their heart right toward me and put me first in everything in their lives and have a kind heart toward others” said the Lord*

*vii. Brani Duyon*

Brani Duyon, a pastor, who died and was brought to Heaven where our Lord Jesus Christ gave him 6 unique messages to warned the church.

*“Tell My children, they must be obedient to give tithes and offerings,” said the Lord Jesus.*

*While Jesus was giving me this message, He said “My child, look there.” He showed me beautiful houses which are ready for His children. “My child, these houses are ready, I prepared for all My children that believe and are obedient to Me.” Then He showed me incomplete houses. I asked “Lord, why these houses are not yet completed?”*

*The Lord Jesus said “My child, these houses belong to my children that are not generous giving tithe and offerings. These houses will be ready and completed after My children give more tithes and offerings in My House.”*

*viii. Queen Dixon*

In her testimony, Queen Dixon wrote:

*Then the Lord of hosts got even angrier and said, “Tithes and offerings are a commandment. this is how my word is preached, this is what takes care of my churches!!!!”*

*The Lord said, “You go and tell them….without holiness, no man can enter into my kingdom!!!” The Lord said to me exactly what was in the bible, “Be ye holy as I am holy!!!!*

*ix.  Abraham Yakubu*

Abraham Yakubu, an apostle wrote in his testimony:

*“Then we left The Palace of Forgiveness and proceeded to “The Palace of Giving.” In The Palace of Giving, any Christian who has not been giving to the work of God will go to hell from there ...*

*Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin (James 4:17).*

*The most unfortunate issue is that of a Christian that does not pay tithe (and probably believing that tithe is an Old Testament command). The way we regard armed robbers of this world, is the way they regard a Christian who does not pay tithe in Heaven (Malachi 3:8-11).*

*I used to think that my tithe was just because of “the windows of Heaven” to be opened unto me for “blessing that there will not be enough room to receive it” (Malachi 3:10–12). But in Heaven, tithe is more than that; because according to verses of Malachi 3: 8 – 9, if you pay your tithe, you are first of all not robbing God (imagine robbing God!) and you are not cursed by God, before you even talk of “blessing.”*

*So it is basically the principle of “total obedience unto God,” because, “To obey (God) is better than sacrifice (of what you do), and to harken than the fat of rams.”  (1 Samuel 15:22) ...'*

*“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he guilty of all” (James 2:10).*

Interestingly, I met this wonderful and highly gifted man of God years ago through an evangelist who is one of the graduates of our Bible School that invited him for an evangelistic crusade. This evangelist also gave me a copy of *"Do Not Glory Yet"* by the guest speaker, Abraham Yakubu.

I have personally cross-checked this on pages 30 to 31 in my own copy of the book published in February 2017.

But, I noticed that Abraham Yakubu added a statement after quoting James 2:10 above.

He wrote: *'Every Christian who does not pay tithe will go to hell fire."*

*x. Emmanuel Agyarko*

Emmanuel Agyarko from Kumasi in Ghana acknowledged in his testimony:

*I saw four pastors in hell, who were there because they did not pay their tithes. One was called Albert and another was Daniel, a pastor of Church of Christ and this church does not believe in tithing. “Daniel said he told his congregation not to pay tithes as it was no longer necessary.” He was in hell for basically two things: He was not paying tithes himself and secondly, Because he also stopped others from paying it.*

Philippians 2:12 KJV
*Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always OBEYED, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING.*

1 Peter 4:17-18 KJV
*For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that OBEY NOT the gospel of God? [18] AND IF THE RIGHTEOUS SCARCELY BE SAVED, WHERE SHALL THE UNGODLY AND THE SINNER APPEAR?*

Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
*Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.*

Ephesians 1:16-18 KJV
In Jesus' name, I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto me and the Body of Christ locally and globally, especially ..... [mention the names of specific people whose hearts are hardened towards tithes] THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM and REVELATION IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM: THE EYES OF OUR UNDERSTANDING BEING ENLIGHTENED on tithes [you may mention other things ....] ; that we may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints ...

*SINNER’S CONFESSION*

If you are not yet born-again, say this:
I choose to repent today. Also I choose to believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose up for my justification.
The Scripture says, *“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”* (Rom 10:9).
Therefore, I believe in Jesus in my heart and confess Him as my Lord. Now I am born-again (Amen).

*SAY THIS ALOUD TO RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT*

Also Jesus said, *“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses…”* (Acts 1:8).
And on the day of Pentecost *“All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance”* (Acts 2:4).
Therefore, I receive the Holy Spirit by faith right now and I begin to speak in an unknown tongue (unlearned tongue) as He gives me the utterance.
I command every foul spirit [spirit of fear, spirit of unbelief, spirit of doubt, religious spirit, unforgiving spirit…] wanting to hinder me to stop in its evil operation in my life in Jesus’ name.
Thank you God for filling me with your Spirit in Jesus’ name (Amen).
