When The Holy Spirit Opens Your Eyes

When The Holy Spirit Opens Your Eyes

You know how when you read scripture and the Holy Spirit takes over and almost shouts at you. What I mean by that the verse you are reading the meaning becomes so clear that it is stands out a mile. Sometimes you want to share it and they don't get the clarification as you got, because the Spirit of God hasn't made it that clear to them. Well the words 'Walk in the Spirit, will not fulfil the desires of the flesh,' became important to me. Gal 5:16. When walking in the flesh we are mean and self centred, self absorbed, selfish, always want to get our own way. And this way we destroy ourselves. That life leads to unhappiness, loneliness, anger, despair and emptiness. But when we have a relationship with God it is because we live by His Spirit not by our flesh. We have life. I know we are in this world and it is not called the valley of tears for nothing. But in the midst of that we have a inner strength that carries us through to the other end.

The joy of the Lord is our strength, when we live God's way and not our own. It is the joy of the Lord that gets us through. We have the joy because we know even if the world hates us, the love of God has for us is far greater than the worlds hatred. We know that God goes with us, that He doesn't abandon us if we don't abandon Him. If we stop praising Him and worshipping Him, we lose our strength and we are then on our own to sought our problems, which never works, because only God can solve our problems and God uses our circumstances for His Glory if we allow Him to, by letting God's Spirit lead the way. Sometimes we are not good at hearing the Spirit but through prayers and sacrifice with humility, God will come to our rescue.

I have had suffer break-downs and social phobias and mental illness etc.... all my life. And I have to admit this is the happiest time of my life, because God has and is still healing me heaps. Through all those trials, believing in Him has got me through and it has forced me to read up on self-deliverance and faith healing etc. That is good because you then teach others and help them through their hard times. And if I didn't know about God's love for me I would not of loved Him and therefore would not have the joy of God in my heat, so I would not be able to endure my cross either. Carrying the cross with Jesus is the only way to do it and come up on top. You become more like Him in your ways and live by His Spirit makes you people apart from the rest of the world that won't listen to Him, mostly because they don't know what a treasure He is to us.

I know we all go through that period of dryness, where we don't feel close to God, because He doesn't seem anywhere around. But to know He is and read things like the Psalms usually can give you the strength you need to keep going. Discipline is a must and when we live by our flesh we always want to take the easy way out. Which only adds to our troubles. Praise Him always and He will help you, train you for a higher purpose than you see right now.

Prayer is so powerful and we need to pray for everybody not just our family.
