How to Be More Noble
by Tonja Taylor So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work.--2 Timothy 2:21, AMPC I don't need to expound on this, really. The Word speaks for itself. The best way to more noble is to allow more of Christ to be expressed through your life (and mine). Ask the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus our LORD, to reveal to you things you need to change; to stop doing, and what to start doing. He will be faithful to help you make these changes. Remember that He is Love (I John 4:8); that He knows everything about your life, even every word before you speak it; every thought before you think it--and He loves you (and me!) anyway. He sees the end from the beginning. He believes in you! He wants to help you be your best self, and to live in all areas of your life to His glory, to that you may experience an even fuller, more satisfying and delightful and abundant life in Him, while others see Him in you. We true Believers in Christ are still on the planet to not only enjoy the LORD, but mainly to be divine expressions of the Master Himself, so that others will be drawn to Him, seek Him, and receive Him. When we live noble lives, others are born again, and the eternal Kingdom of God is expanded. We have work to do, so by the help of our LORD, let's get busy--while still taking time to rest and rejoice in Him, always!
Through books, courses, presentations, service, prayer, worship, and more, Tonja and her husband live to exalt God. Her series for girls, P.O.W.E.R.
