Thought:  Sorry for the delay but was on vacation visiting family in Iowa and Virginia.  During my time there my kids took me to a well-known and frequented restaurant where you could order anything off the menu.  The waiter kept very busy with trays of food to our table.  I thought about restaurants all over our country where this took place every day of the week.  Food without end.  How many that partake of this feast have a word of gratitude to the ONE who supplies it all?  How often do they think of the blessing this is from a God who loves us?  Who gives us a place to live, water, food, clothing, transportation.  All the essentials that make life worthwhile. We can have Thanksgiving everyday if we recognize the hand that provides it all for us.  How about this holiday we have an attitude of gratitude for the One who loves and cares about our welfare.  Here’s His inspired words that will help us to be mindful of His mercy and grace that rests upon all the people of this nation.   HAVE A BLESSED THANKSGIVING !

I Thess. 5:16-18 KJ “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give THANKS for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

I Chronicles 16:34 “Oh give THANKS to the Lord for he is good. His love and his kindness go on forever. “

Col. 2:6-7 KJ “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him an stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with THANKSGIVING.”

Prayer:  Father God, help me to be mindful everyday of your hand of grace and mercy.  All blessings come from you and help me to recognize all your provisions.  Amen
