PERPETUAL EXCITEMENT & UNEXPLAINABLE JOY!
by linzy bruno I have to say right off; I am excited even just writing this! It’s so amazing. How does He do it? Somehow God manages to keep us intrigued with His Word, with a continual thirst (Jeremiah 15:16). And the excitement even grows, He keeps our prayers fresh, even those we say on a regular basis and have said thousands of times. And then there’s that spiritual lift we feel when we spend time in prayer and worship and sometimes even in split second thank-YOUs. With God there is perpetual joy and excitement in the ordinary, even the mundane moments of life. Through Jesus’ Own Words In Matthew 25:21; He Shares His joy With Those Who Obey HIM: “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’” And Also in Psalm 1:2— “But his delight is in the law of the Lord, The Joy of The Lord IS Far Better Than Any Circumstantial or Materialistic Joy: “I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, “There are many who say,
And only God can keep us in such amazing joy that everything is refreshed, like new, even down to the second. It’s like He releases waves of joy that shower His children with incredible encouragement for both spirit and soul, along with an inner-knowing of being right smack in the middle of His Will. Oh the joy of knowing we are right where we’re supposed to be! Moreover, whatever problems come, we can tackle them in Holy Spirit confidence, without fear muscling in and stealing our joy. Thanks be to God that He has ordained that we have joy beyond circumstance; His Supernatural Joy, as the Apostle Paul has so beautifully illustrated in Philippians 4:7. And inasmuch as this is a Supernatural Joy, it has God’s Power in it and subsequently can bring joy not sought after. Therefore, even in the natural, when we strive to keep our thoughts godly, or directly focused on Him, joy shows up unexpectedly. In simple, everyday things, we are afforded the privilege of unexplainable joy. Doing things like laundry, cooking, even at work and even in the most mundane tasks like cleaning the toilet, God in His Awesome Goodness, faithfully showers His joy on His faithful ones. So regardless of expectation, joy can be perpetual, no matter what is going on in our lives. How does He keep everything so new and fresh and SO exciting? We don’t even need to know and cannot know anyway, but it’s awe-inspiring to ponder. Because of Supernatural Joy, It’s Amazing The Strength We Gain In All Areas of Our Lives And Even In All of Our Being: “ Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10) Furthermore, God’s Word Says We Ought Not Let Anyone/Anything Steal Our Joy Because of Its Great Value: “who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.”(1Peter 1:5-9) Our Gratitude Sparks His Joy Like a Match Sparks a Flame!: “Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! Praise the Lord with the harp; For the word of the Lord is right, “And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord: “For He is good, Jesus Came So We Can Have Joy And Abundance of Life: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10) “You will show me the path of life; Furthermore, The Lord’s Supernatural Joy IS Superior! No Circumstantial Happiness can Compare: “You will show me the path of life; “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you a]">[will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) God Makes All Things Brand New! Now That’s Excitement! “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2Corinthians 5:17) “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26) “ But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)
