HEAR GOD SPEAK?
by Eugene Lopatynsky When God speaks, Kiddo, you better listen and listen, examine every letter and syllable. Why? Because every letter, every syllable will come exactly true before you. God spoke to Adam and Eve, at the dawn of history, saying, “Don’t do this, or you will surely die.” Satan came around with his customary LIES, saying, “You will not surely die…” Well, they surely died. All their offspring died. Every generation since then died. We, including you, will also surely die, and then you will enter JUDGMENT before Almighty God. God is the very truth itself. Every word must always come true. God told them also what lies before a man, if he should lose Jesus. Revelation 14:11 | View whole chapter | See verse in context And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Torment for ever and ever? No rest day nor night? If somebody tells you that any man’s consciousness ceases eventually, tell him to go read what God said. Every WORD of GOD will come exactly, exactly true, just like the warning about the forbidden Fruit. When God speaks, better listen and listen, to every letter, every syllable. For a very brief moment I saw a TV picture of Prince Phillip (husband to Queen), very shortly before his death. His expression bore a most terrible despair, a real “Entsetzen”, a horror normally never seen. These people can feel it coming. Getting old and decrepit comes to our terrible enemies also, you bet. And the finality of earthly existence, to them, is an unspeakable horror. But not to any real Christian. Such very certain outcome is our graduation. For all who belong to Christ. Observe how many have been already promoted ahead of us. For us, God is a joy, a delight, a happiness so immense that it is impossible to contain it for any of us. It spills over as praise, or gratitude, or endearment. In fact, the happiness is so great that such response is unstoppable. That, if you please, is the only REAL praise. And the future? God says that "the ear has not heard and the eye has not seen, nor has entered into the imagination of man, the happiness which God has prepared for those who love Him...." (1 Cor 2: 9) Every WORD will come true? You answer that one. WITH INFINITE LOVE GOD GAVE US A SAVIOR, to pay our penalty and a Bible, a guide and light on our path! The Bible is a love story; written with blood, upon a wooden cross; the story of God's love for you. Men are not lost because they are sinners; THEY ARE LOST BECAUSE THEY HAVE REJECTED THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE, who died for them. If you are not yet completely committed to Christ, know that our Savior needs to be invited. He is a gentleman. He knocks on the door of your heart (innermost being). Everybody can have the other one (Satan) automatically; that one never knocks. He pushes his way. Any CONCEIVABLE sacrifice is worthwhile to find the BIBLICAL Christ Jesus and to belong to Him. If you want Him, pray now with me, "DEAREST LORD JESUS, FORGIVE ME MY SINS. I REJECT ALL NON-BIBLICAL RELIGION. COME INTO MY LIFE AND BE THE RULER OF MY LIFE. HELP ME TO LOVE YOU MORE EVERY DAY AND TO OBEY YOU WITH ALL MY STRENGTH AND TO READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY, EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE." If you do this, and mean it, with an open heart, this prayer will never fail. It will become the greatest thing you will ever have, and it will last forever. Even in this life it will be the greatest happiness you'll know, and a light upon your path. Conversely, to FAIL in this, it will be the GREATEST DISASTER you will ever have, both here and hereafter. Something most especial is waiting for those who seek the immense goodness of our Lord. God Himself said, that "The ear has not heard, and no eye has ever seen, neither can man even imagine the HAPPINESS which God prepared for those who love him" (1 Cor. 2:9, paraphrased, if you please).
