HYPER-GRACE: A DANGEROUS FALSE TEACHING
by linzy bruno
The shocking online definition of Hyper-Grace— The term hyper-grace was coined by critics of a recent movement in Christianity that places an extreme emphasis on the role of grace. Hyper-grace teaches that God forgives sin regardless of that believer's spiritual condition, that is whether they are repentant or not... Some even say that repentance and confession of sin are not necessary since Christians are eternally forgiven.

The Hyper-Grace Heresy (spiritofgrace.org)
This is clearly a false doctrine being taught and obviously an extension of the OSAS teaching. It portrays repentance as a work of the flesh, but that contradicts 2Timothy 2:25, which clearly indicates that we get repentance as a gift from God. He draws us toward repentance when we sin against Him. And why would anyone not want to repent? How is that any different from saying I'm sorry to a friend, whose feelings you hurt? It's fundamentally the same thing, only with God it's much more critical. When we are saved by God it means we’re safe; the work has been done! For once and for ALL (Hebrews 10:10), but there are some that turn this awesome promise of comfort into something else---abuse of God’s Awesome Grace. Nothing can separate us from the love of our God (Romans 8:38-39 & Hebrew 13:5), so is that what the OSAS doctrine says/teaches? YES, but the problem is that some people use this precious promise of God to manipulate God’s Grace and live in sin; thinking they are covered. So is that person really saved? NO. God’s children do not get all mixed up in hyper grace (the name used to define this condition/countenance before the Lord). This is due to the fact that God’s children are give a new heart; the old passes away and all things are new for those who truly love HIM (2Corinthians 5:17)
“that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:22-24)
Therefore, the misunderstanding is not that someone can lose their faith, it’s that some people, whether they are aware of it or not, are convoluting God’s Grace in regards to salvation and only think they are saved. Those who believe they are saved, but there is no change in them at all, only THINK they are saved, for when the Holy Spirit comes to live within our hearts, we are changed, for the Spirit of God cannot abide in a heart of sin….. But can we actually lose our faith? Only if they were never saved in the first place. For those who are truly saved, they are safe unless they change their mind and decide to worship something or someone else. Moreover, how can someone claim sincerity toward God and just turn away? One would have to either be crazy or fall out of love with God and into love with Satan, for what else but evil could have such an affect and if evil is what they choose, then that’s why they are no longer redeemable. The Bible does mention this countenance and it’s clear how dangerous this truly is through this stunning and ominous verse: “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned” (Hebrews 6:4-8) Believers are turning away from the Truth of God in record numbers (part of the Last Days scenario) and denying the Cross after, in some cases, years of fellowshipping with the Lord! It’s astounding, but there it is clearly stated; they are not reconcilable before God. He can have no partaking in such a thing, as evil opposes God and the things of God and cannot be purified unless that person decides they want to change. God's Word is clear that there is only good and evil; there is no inbetween. Jesus says this very thing in Matthew 12:30. "He who is not for Me is against Me...." you are not for Me you are against Me." And God cannot be fooled or tricked. He knows whether someone’s heart is good or evil. I do know of a man whose family were Satanists, and therefore, he was raised to serve and love Satan and hate God. But after growing up that way; calling Satan “daddy” he consequently changed his mind and became sincere in his heart before God and is now living a holy life; spreading the message of the Gospel. Why did God accept him? First of all, he was never with God, so he didn’t turn away, he was just lost and now he’s found! Hallelujah! AMEM. God is fair. There is no person nor entity that is more fair or just than our GOD. He Judgment is perfect. And for those who love Him, the OSAS doctrine is a promise and God always keeps His Promises. Our salvation is secure; Jesus died ONCE AND FOR ALL and we can comfort one all whose of a pure heart that we are always saved, forever. AMEN. The Hyper-Grace 'doctrine' should not be a ‘movement,' but a warning as to what NOT to do! NOTE: The bold print in these Scriptures are highlighted to show that they were words that were italicized in the Bible, since I have italicized all of the verses.
