Proof God is alive part 2
by Kay Rittenhouse The church I went to was not one the townsfolks thought too highly of. The church was full of people living paycheck to paycheck, simple, humble people. Much like most of the people I have known my whole life. They knew their provider, their protector, and their healer was not of this world. The church had a second-hand van and we were all going to listen to Pastor Charlie and Shelly Rogers in another faith-based church. The church was a good forty miles away. We made it to the service fine but coming home was another thing altogether. We had only gone a short distance when the van began to slow down and the lights began to dim. A little further and we were going a whopping 20 miles an hour and had very little light. The van was loaded with adults and kids of all ages. Suddenly the pastor's wife began singing a worship song and we all joined it. The van began to speed up and the lights came on brightly. Soon we were doing 60 MPH with no issues. We made it home safe and sound. Just a mom. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
