Today it's hard to find a group of people who will agree that God is alive and well. That he still does miracles or that he hears our prayers. So today I thought I'd share some of my personal experiences on this. I am not the only person involved in these instances.

First, let me tell you that I am not perfect, I make mistakes daily. My mail lady always stopped a few minutes to talk to me when she delivered my mail. Today she looked like crap. She said she had been sick for three days and hadn't been able to eat without tossing her cookies. I told her I'd request prayer that night at church. This lady wasn't a holier than thou person and had even asked did we roll around on the floor like dying fish. As she was leaving I yelled, "Go ahead and eat, it will be ok." I headed back to the house and thought, why did you tell her that out of the blue? That night we were heading out the door of the church and it hit me, I'd forgotten to request prayer for her. I stopped the ladies at the door and said, we've got to pray for my mail lady. The time was 8.05 P.M. The next day I saw my mail lady and she looked so much better. She said, "I was so hungry and I remembered what you said so I ate a big supper. Not one problem did I have. Thank you for praying." I asked her what time she ate and she said, just after 8 P.M.
