CONFIDENTLY DOING IT BY GRACE
by Dudley Anderson GodTracker 818 1 Corinthians 15:10 Grace is God’s doing. By his grace, God did it when he sent his only Son, Jesus Christ to become a sin offering for us when he was crucified at Calvary. By his grace God demonstrated his loving mercy toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. The consequence of sin is death, and we have all sinned and come short of God’s goodness. Jesus died. Yet, he was not guilty of sin. Therefore, death had no hold on him and three days after he was killed, Jesus came alive again. If we believe in his death and resurrection and confess his lordship over our lives, we can be forgiven of all sin and be reconciled to the goodness of God. Not only did God do it for me when he sent Jesus to pay for sin and reconcile me to his goodness but, by the grace of God, I am what I am today. As a follower of Christ submitted to God’s will, nothing I do is of my own doing. All I set my hand to do is his doing in and through me. As I continue to acknowledge the Lord in all my ways, he directs my life’s track by his grace. All my skills are God-abilities and all my opportunities are God-opportunities. So, I no longer have confidence in my self but I have confidence in God’s grace. Therefore, whatever I do in life I will do for his glory and in the name of Jesus with confidence in the abilities and opportunities he gives. It is not I, but the grace of God that is with me, doing it. Grace is God’s doing. God-tracking is confidently doing it by grace. READ ALL ABOUT IT DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY “Dear Lord, firstly, I wish to reaffirm that I believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus and confess him as Lord of my life. Thank you that I am saved by your grace through faith. Secondly, I surrender all my ways to you: my relationships, my work, my church and my recreation. Thank you for your grace at work in and through me. Thank you for my skills and talents and the opportunities you have given me to use my skills for your glory. I acknowledge your grace is your doing in me. Amen.”
