MY LIFE IS IN YOU
by Dudley Anderson GodTracker 817 Isaiah 40:11 There is an old praise song by Joseph Garlington that we used to sing with gusto. It went something like this: My life is in you Lord, My strength is in You, Lord, My hope is in You, Lord I must have sung this song thousands of times. But what a confession it is! Indeed, my life is seated in Jesus and God’s righteousness is imputed into me. Listen, “[…he has] seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,” and, “…in him we might become the righteousness of God.” Your life is wrapped up in his arms. Your God loves you far more than you’ll ever know. By grace, he sent his only Son to become a sin offering for you so that, in him, you may be reconciled to his goodness. Because of his love for you, nothing will ever separate you from him. He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for you will, with him, graciously give you all things. You have a special place in his heart. He desires to meet all your needs and carry you in his arms like a shepherd carries his lambs. Indeed, nothing in all creation will be able to separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus your Lord. So, sing with me… “My life is in you Lord, my strength is in you, Lord. All my hope is in You!” God-tracking is being sure your whole life is wrapped up in him READ ALL ABOUT IT DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY “My dear Lord, thank you that I am your child. Thank you for sending righteous Jesus to reconcile me to your goodness. Thank you that my life is wrapped up in your arms and you have promised to meet all my needs in Christ Jesus. You carry me close to your heart. Help me to rest assured that absolutely nothing will separate me from your love when I face the trials of life. Amen.”
