(I gave an online student a writing assignment: to write what he wished for the world. I wrote with him, and this is what flowed out:)

This is what I wish for--that everyone would have a happy and peaceful life.

That they would all feel good. That they would all know they are loved.

That they would learn that there is a Creator Who loves them so much He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to die for them, so they could have a life better than they ever imagined!

That they woudl be healed, and healthy, and whole, and relaxed, and free; free to take the beautiful dreams in their hearts and go with it, and flow with it, and know that the LORD Who is Elohim--the Creator of Heaven and earth--is Almighty, Omnipotent, onmipresent, everywhere; omnisicent!

That He knows all about them, but loves them anyway, and loves to watch and care for them.

That His angels protect and guide them and direct them and redirect them and shield them from much more harm than they ever would have thought.

That there is a Great Plan and that their choices affect every part of their lives--and the lives of many others.

That, in spite of their bad choices, there is a God Who can and will and wants to take every mistake and mess, and make miracles!

That He loves them anyway, no matter what.

This is called Grace, and we all need it.

We all need it--in abundance.

We need it in amazing ways, and it is, indeed amazing--for the Holy God Who created us holy forgave and is restoring us to His original intent.
