Three Types of Men
by Rick Oraham There are three types of men: ignorant, foolish, and wise Which type am I? God can see right through my disguise The ignorant man, well he just doesn't seem to know That God is trying hard to direct his ways to go The foolish man, for years and years, that, my friend, was me Trying anything and everything to make me feel happy When I knew the truth. It was shown to me from up above And I was showing God above anything but love So from my foolish ways I am trying to become wise And this, to the devil, will be a really big surprise For he once had me stuck in the muck and in the mire I've come so very close to feeling the flames of his fire But God has saved me; He heard my earnest plea And this, to Him, my honest prayer will be: "Lord, if you will, please show me how to live right So I can truly follow you both in daytime and in night" That God can see right through me, there can't be any doubt And I want living as a wise man to be what I'm about Rick Oraham ([email protected]), a greatful, recovering addict who is a born-again Believer in Jesus Christ.
