GOD’S INCOMPARABLE PERFECTIONS AND GLORY

Thought:  I just came back from a week's vacation in Florida.  I was mystified by the turquoise color of the ocean with it’s frothy waves coming onto the shore line.  A verse from God’s Word came to mind.  Jeremiah 5:22 “I set the shorelines of the world by perpetual decrees, so that the oceans, though they toss and roar, can never pass those bounds.  Isn’t such a God to be feared and worshipped?”  The tall palm trees and variety of foliage was truly a remarkable display of our Creator’s handiwork.  Another amazing observation was the freedom the people had, no masks, no social distancing and children that could go to school.  Thanks to the leadership of Florida’s Governor.  It was like a pre-covid world.  Other Governors could learn from this kind of leadership.  I believe it’s called herd immunity.

Our Lord knew exactly what he was doing when he created humans with a built-in natural immunity.  The intricacy of the human body should convince even the hardcore sceptic that a mastermind was behind it all.  Our Creator God is alive and well.  He arose from the grave.  Easter service was held at the beach.  It took an early rising but well worth the loss of sleep.  The holiday celebration of our Savior's resurrection was topped off with a delicious meal at Emeril’s Florida restaurant.  It was a workday for him as we watched him along with the other chefs prepare meals behind a glass partition while we were privileged to have a front row table.

Our Creator God set the boundaries of the oceans and his power is revealed in its massive water’s.  Our power is found in the Lord Jesus spiritual presence when we invite Him into our lives.  We have access to His power every minute of the day for strength in troublesome times, wisdom in our daily decisions and love for those who are truly unlovely and hurt you.  Jesus’s power will help you to forgive and love all those around you.  This takes constant awareness of his presence, communicating with Him through prayer.  He will help us to live out a victorious, fruitful and abundant life

Prayer:  Father God,  I delight in your incomparable perfections and glory.  Amen

Verse:  Phill. 4:19 “And it is he who will supply all your needs from his riches in glory, because of what Christ Jesus has done for us.  Now unto God our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen”
