Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it]. -- Hebrews 4:16, AMPC

"I don't even have time for this conversation!" the manager told me, as she paused in her race across the retail store, where I'd dropped in to check on product sales. 

"Gotcha!" I said, quickly handing her a sheet. "I just need to know if you've ordered any of these." 

She said she'd have to check and sped off. 

Wow, grace and peace to her and the other workers for this Christmas season! I thought. Thank You, LORD, that my schedule is much less hectic. Or is it that I've learned to trust You more and not stress?

The LORD our God, our Abba Father (once we have received Christ Jesus as Savior and LORD, that is) is always available. He tells us to come boldly to His Throne of Grace to find mercy and help when we need it. HALLELUJAH! He is a good, good Father, always available to talk with us. In fact, He is waiting for us to draw near to Him, to connect.

When we worship and pray, read His Word and are thankful, we are drawing near to Him. Then we can hear Him better. Also, when we obey Him to release all our cares and worries to Him, then we receive peace from Him and can also hear Him better. 

Unlike the busy manager, Father God is The Ultimate Manager--Who always has time for you!
