When Christmas is Over, Christ Remains
by Tonja Taylor

11 For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind. 12 It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world, 13 Awaiting and looking for the [fulfillment, the realization of our] blessed hope, even the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One),   Titus 2:11-13, AMPC

This year, because of the virus junk, I noticed that many, many people started decorating even earlier than usual; even before Thanksgiving, there were many Christmas lights and more on display, in several places! I noticed this during my traveling sales job.

I understand that, for many people, Christians included, that Christmas is the most special, "magical" time of the year.  Part of that is hope--of goodness, of abundance, of love. And all of those are qualities of our loving Father God.

Then, when the holidays are over, many people--even some Christians, who don't understand enough about how much God loves them--become depressed; some even suicidally so.

But know this: God is faithful forever. He cannot change. Even if He could, He would not!  He is the God Yahweh, Who is forever faithful to the Blood Covenant we have with Him through Jesus Christ, when we receive Him as our Savior and LORD. Hallelujah!

I will not violate my covenant or alter the word that went forth from my lips. Psalm 89:34, ESV

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. - Hebrews 13:8
