Thought:  When Moses asked God what name he was to go by when he approached the people of Israel God answered, “just say I AM has sent me.”  Those two words reveal the depth of His eternal existence—never beginning or ending.  He but spoke and all life on this planet became into being.  Some concepts of God, influenced by Hollywood movies, see him as a force, a mist in the Heavens, unrecognizable and unreachable.  His Word tells us different.  He’s not only Sovereign God but we can now have a personal relationship with through the human God/man Jesus. 

Our first parents blew it when Satan convinced them they could be ‘gods’  and defy God’s rules. This sounds vaguely familiar in some spiritual religions of today.  Through this disobedience Satan was able to secure the deed to planet Earth and in doing so brought death into the world.  All living things began to age and die.  How would the planet be redeemed from Satan’s hands?  It would take a sinless “I AM” to leave his formal glory and become like man.  This God/man’s name is Jesus.  He came through the natural birth process and had a mission.  He was to be the sacrificial lamb that would be offered up to cover the sins of all the world and defeat death by His resurrection.  Therefore, destroying Satan’s plans to keep mankind under the Devils control.

Scripture tells us this God/man Jesus is the Creator in human form that holds all things together (Col 1:17-19.)  If this ball of fire, that sustains life on Earth, were to be just inches closer we would burn up.  If it were further away this Orb would be a ball of ice.  These are just some of the mysteries that reveal there must be a higher power that keeps everything in it’s place.  Someday soon the God/man Jesus is going to come back in his resurrected body and reclaim his rights to planet Earth.  It is called the Golden Age of Christ’s reign as King of Kings for 1,000 years.  He will restore this planet to the original state of splendor that He intended in the very beginning. What a blessed Hope that is for all who by faith accept Him into their lives and begin a daily, new, fresh, spiritual journey with the great “I AM”  Maranatha

Prayer:  Father God, what an incredible privilege it is to address you as ABBA, Father.  I can now spiritually go into the Holy of Holies where you are and walk with you every day like my first parents did in the garden.  Thank you, amen

Verse:  Col. 2:8,9,10 “ Don’t let others spoil your faith and joy with their philosophies, their wrong and shallow answers built on men’s thoughts and ideas, instead of on what Christ has said.  For in Christ there is all of God in a human body, so you have everything when you have Christ and you are filled with God (Holy Spirit) through your union with Christ.  He is the highest Ruler with authority over every other power.”
