Vs1:
When the Spirit nudges our hearts,
Releasing the burden to pray,
May we not let it just depart,
Without plunging deep in prayer.

Vs2:
When the Spirit nudges our hearts;
Giving strength to our inner-man,
The strength is to pray, not to play.
The more we pray, d’more we're strengthened!

Vs3:
If the Spirit's nudging is lost,
Then it is very much because,
We under-use His praying grace,
Which grows as we yield His nudging.

Vs4:
Spirit Divine, nudge me again!
Stir me to hunger for prayer!
No more shall I waste praying grace.
Lord help me, help me pray prayer.
