"confess your fault one to another, and pray for another,
that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16.
The Elects of the Lord has significant roles to play during this time when coronavirus gains the ground world wide. The righteous should not be quiet this hour. It is time to stand in the gap between mankind and God. It is a time to plead with Him to withdraw His rod of discomfort, COVID 19.
As it was, so it is and so shall it be, the prayer of the righteous of the Lord had brought changes to their communities during a hard time, whether it is brought about by a pandemic, famine or war.
For example, during the life of Prophet Elisha, there was a sore famine in Samaria. It was so severe that people ate their children. It was then that King of Israel remembered that there was a righteous Prophet in his domain. He sent to him with a threat to kill Him. It was at that point that Elisha, who seemed to be unconcerned about the starvation spoke and the whole famine ended within twenty-four hours.
The Lord remain the same : What were the words that nailed famine to the cross? Elisha asserted,
"Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel
and two measures of barley for a shekel in the gate of samaria." 2 King 17:1.
Do ou know what? The famine that ravage Samaria then had a source and the secret was known to only the rigtheous, Prophet Elisha. What was the cause of that famine? Elisha revealed,
"Behold, this evil is of the Lord" 2 Kings 6:33e.
Beloved, although a king may not locate you threaten your nor existence on earth, you are aware of the current pandemic called Coronavirus (COVID 19) spreading throughout the world and claiming lives. Please, it is time to talk to the Lord your God to remember mercy in judgement. This pandemic cannot but be a corrective measure to prove to mankind by the Lord that they are mortal man.
Is human wickedness not increasing in this generation? It is sad that mankind does not give a thought to seeking the face their Maker. They trust and rely on "experts" to solve the current manace. Note this piece is not targeted at condemning the experts who have the Lord as the source of their expertise. This holds, whether or not an expert believes it or not. The Lord grants wisdom, knowledge and understanding to man, whether he knows it or not. Is this Scriptural, you may ask? Hear the Lord,
"Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to cyrus, whose right hand
I have holden, to subdue nations before him, and I will loose the loins of
kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not
be shut.
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight : I will break in
pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches
of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call
thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel, mine elect, I have even called
thee by thy name : I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. "
Isaiah 45:1-4.
Of all the use of the King and the Lord's promises, it is sad that the Lord used and provided for someone who "hast not known" Him. So, all that the experts have attained are through the grace of the Lord, whether they have known Him or not.
Beloved, kindly pray for the nations to be healed of COVID 19. Let the time of His anger be cut short because of the Elects, Matt 24:22.
