The Coronavirus Pandemic; Shifting the Focus of Attention
by Jack Vorster Just as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, so the new Coronavirus has broken out in the east and has spread to the west. Is there a reason for this? What is it that has been happening in the world in recent years that has brought death and destruction from the east to the west? That’s an easy question to answer. From the ongoing, violent unrest in Hong Kong in the east to the wars and slaughter of human beings in Afghanistan and the Middle East and moving on to the public protests, terrorist onslaughts and mass shootings in the west, crazed humanity has been decimating itself because of greed for power and possession. And even in the parliamentary and congressional assemblies all over the world politicians have been behaving like animals with a loud noise of accusations being hurled from one to the other as if, by doing so, the focus of legal address for corruption will remain on the backburner forever. Suddenly, all of the above is abating because of the world-wide threat of the new disease. Travel bans, isolation, restrictions on movement and a cease-fire pause in the warring zones have been called for in order to address the new disease threatening the human race. It’s like the world is saying, “Let’s first get this thing under control so that we can resume killing each other.” Is the new viral plague a supernatural intervention for the purpose of bringing temporary sanity to the world before the real end-time events take their course? We’ve already experienced, with increasing intensity, earthquakes, flash floods, heat waves and wildfires all over the world, not to mention inexplicable road, rail and air accidents as well as collapsing buildings and bridges and explosions in factories and in-transit gas tankers. Have we had forewarning of all these disastrous events? Let’s see. Jesus declared the following in Matthew 24:6-8. “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. This correlates with Rev. 6:3,4. “And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.” It would seem as if a calm before the storm has been put in place by the outbreak of this new plague – a calming influence brought about by supernatural intervention. Politicians govern the nations of the world and they have decreed, “Let’s remove God from our deliberations by separating Church and State and allow freedom of religion.” As a consequence, the world has become a human slaughterhouse with millions having to flee to foreign territories where they are treated like animals. And now the world has come to a standstill because of a new disease, fearing the fatalities it might bring to the human race, which might number thousands. But the world is not at all concerned with the millions of human upon human deaths in the war zones for the sake of power, greed, religion – and oil. “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; Now retired, Jack Vorster has a background in marketing in the field of newspaper advertising.
