Thought:  What do these two words mean to you?  As born again believers are we sold out to Jesus?  Have we given him our whole body, mind and spirit or just portioned it out in small increments of whatever makes us comfortable.  Do we trust him with our spouse, children, friends and future plans?  

I can think of one person from the Bible who demonstrated someone who is sold out to the Lord and that is Paul the author of the epistles.  In his writings he considered himself to be a servant for Jesus.  Paul humbled himself to the point of total surrender to God's purpose for his life.  Today, how much are we as Christians benefiting from this sold out life.  His words are straight from the lips of God Almighty who used Paul in an outstanding way of helping believers move on from infancy towards maturity in the faith when we all believe the same about Jesus.
  Mature Christians reflect the very essence of the Spirit of Christ that lives within.  God is love.   If more Christians were completely sold out to the Lord what would this world be like...no more greed, hate, war's and killing.  A time of peace for all mankind.  That time is coming when Christ is King and ruler over all of God's creation for 1,000 years and that is our blessed hope for all of us today.  Maranatha

Prayer:  Father God, help us all to reach that point of total surrender, sold out to Jesus. Who knows better what our future holds but you who live in eternity.  If we can trust a pilot to get us where were going we can sure put our trust in a Father God who loves us dearly.  Amen

Verse:  Eph. 6:14-15 " Because of that cross my interest in all the attractive things of the world was killed long ago and the worlds interest in me is also long dead, what counts is whether we really have been changed into new and different people."
