"I've Been Robbed"
by Steve Countryman

John 10:10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” In this verse Satan has his plans spelled out for him. His ultimate plan is to destroy you. We are made in God’s image. So when Satan see us he sees the image of the One who made us.

Along the way are the steps that he’ll take to achieve it. Satan starts with stealing. He steals the truth, those truths that you were raised on. Those you learned as the Truth that you grew up with in church. God’s truth that you read and have put your faith in as you matured. Those truths that were made known to you as you witnessed God’s Word alive and working in your life daily.

The Truth that is only found in the Bible. It is never changing through out time and is verified through science.

If Satan can’t steal the Truth then he’ll take some lies along with some half truths and get you to compromise your beliefs by stirring them into your justification of sin in your life. By getting you to make excuses and justify your sinful behavior. Doing so will get you stuck in the mud of lies and keep you there.

The next step is to kill you by the killing of your body. He does this with your help as you dig your grave of deception. Getting you to believe that drugs, sex, parties and wild living are okay “because other people do it”. Depression works well for Satan as he convinces you that suicide is your best and only choice.   All of which is meant to kill the body.

The final step is to destroy you by putting you in hell. It’s sad that so many go to church and have heard the Truth of the Bible but still haven’t made that commitment and surrender to Jesus.

By giving your heart to Jesus will not cause those problems to go away but will “give you a hope and a future”. Don’t wait any longer. Putting it off or waiting ‘til your death bed will not guarantee you an opportunity. Receive God’s love, abundance and forgiveness today before its too late!
