Pre-tribulation Rapture Heresy Pt.2
by Roy Francois According to David J. Stewart of Jesus is Lord website, He has Biblical Proof of a Pretribulation or secret Rapture, so, Let’s look at this so-called proof. Stewart quotes: Matthew 24:42-44, which states: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore, be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” —Hebrews 11:5 Here and throughout his presentation of his so-called scriptural proof of a pre-tribulation rapture, Mr. Stewart is saying that these verses of scripture can only mean the second coming of Christ, and Christ will only return to this earth at that time. Now, this does have a ring of truth to it, but how can this be, Jesus, God, who can do anything is locked out of His creation and can never return to it until a certain day in the future, think about it. Is that really what theses verses of scripture teaching? Is that what you believe they are teaching? We will prove through scripture that this is false, but there something else we must take notice of in his first statement here; Mr. Stewart uses Hebrews 11:5 to support his clam of a pre-tribulation rapture without any explanation of how it supports Matthew 24:42-44 but placed it there as evidence of his proof of scriptural evidence of a pretribulation rapture. Keep this in mind as we will return to it shortly. He states: “Our Lord Jesus Christ taught that He might come back at any time, suddenly, imminently, without any notice or signs. The most important characteristic of Christ's return is that it could happen without warning, suddenly, catching us off guard if we're not faithfully serving our Master...” The Lord did not give us the day and hour of His return, but He did give us the season of His return. He next quotes: Mark 13:32-37, “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.” Now here in Mark 13:32-37, the Lord is speaking of His physical return at the end of time, but not so with Matthew 24:42-44. There He is speaking of our appointed date with death. Stewart states: “The Lord told us TO WATCH, because He might come back at any time, suddenly. For anyone to teach that the Rapture cannot happen until after the 7-year Tribulation period is blatant heresy. There's absolutely no way that the Rapture could happen after the Tribulation. The following passage of Scripture 100% proves the Pretribulation return of Christ...” Now I ask you? What Christian doesn’t expect to see Jesus at the moment of death, if death comes before the rapture? As I understand it, the Lord is warning His followers to always be on guard because they know not the hour of their death, when they must face God, they could drop dead that very night, and the master comes for them, and not two thousand years into the future. This is the major problem with the pre-tribulation rapture heresy, it gets fearful Christians so caught up in what might happen in the future, and not realize that His second coming for them could be this very night and catch them off guard. It just makes sense to me that my concern should be with making sure that if the Lord comes for me this night, at my moment of death, my lamp is filled with oil, and I’m prepared to meet the Lord, not what’s going to happen sometime in the future that I may not even be alive to witness. My concern is for now, one day at a time, I have always taken the meaning of the Lord’s statement to be watchful and stay vigilant to mean, I know not the hour of my death, I know not the hour of my appointed date with death when the Lord will return for me. That is His second coming for you! If He doesn’t come for you at that moment, then nothing else matters, for you, it doesn’t matter when the rapture takes place, because you have missed His second coming for you personally. The second coming of Jesus that Mark 13:32-37 is speaking of is His coming in the flesh a second time, not a second time of Him ever coming to this earth again, ever before the rapture. Did not Jesus come to this earth when the apostle Paul met Jesus on the road as Paul was going to persecute Christian. Well, according to Mr. Stewart, Jesus has already made His second coming when he came here to meet Paul. How’s about when the Lord came here at the stoning of St. Stephen. That would make three time the Lord has come to this earth. If the Lord knew that none of the people He was speaking to would have to face the great tribulation or be raptured to be with the Lord in their lifetime, then this message would mean nothing to them, but if He is warning them of their date with dead, then this would seem to make sense. As is the case today, people were committing to Christ one day, and the next they would return to their old lifestyle. The bible describes it as being like a dog returning to its vomit. There is no indication of when the rapture is to take place in this verse of scripture. Whenever a true Christian die, that is the hour that the Lord comes for them, so, instead of trying to twist this verse of scripture into a pre-tribulation rapture of someday next week next month or next year, why not start this night thinking about the Lord’s return for you at the moment of death that could be this night before the rapture comes. So, the Lord has appeared many times in this earth before and after His death and resurrection, but at the hour of our death he promised to be there. That’s part of what Matthew 24:42-44 is all about. The moment of death! The second coming of Christ for You personally. A good example is St. Stephen who was the first Christian martyr, killed by the very same beast that the so-called warriors for Christ of today buckles at the knees at the thought of. St. Stephen looked up and saw Jesus smiling on Him, a true warrior for Christ who found out that at his moment of death, its at that moment, the moment that the good master had come for him, not thousands of years into the future. The pre-tribulation rapture cult is throwing Christians off their walk with God and into fear and worry. I have had many discussions with pre-tribers, and one of the reasons I hear most for their belief in this false teaching, and the false teaching of “Once Saved Always Saved” is that God don’t want us to worry. Well, if that’s the case, then it’s not working because this entire pre-tribulation rapture heresy is one of fear and worry. The fear of having face what St. Stephen had to face; the fear of having to face what all the disciples of Christ had to face; the anti-Christ! The anti-Christ has been here from the beginning and has always persecuted Christians who stand against him or it. It was the anti-Christ that murdered Jesus and all the prophets. The only time Christians are not persecuted by this anti-Christ is when they bow before him and obeys his commands and he becomes their lord; whose voice you obey, that one becomes your master. The Lord came at Stephen’s moment of death, they very thing the Lord warned His people to be watchful of. So, therefore watch, because you know not when the Lord will come for you or me, he could come this very night for me and come for you years later. You know not the hour when your master cometh. Therefore, Watch! The Lord did not know the exact day or hour of when His return in the flesh would be, but He did know when it was not. It could not come before He died and was resurrected and ascended into heaven and present the sacrifice to the Father. So, Jesus could not have been telling His listeners in Matthew 24:42-44 that the rapture could take place in their lifetime before His ascension into heaven. One thing the Lord did know, was that the world would have to advance to such a great technological stage that they would be on the verge of self-destruction just before his return. Therefore, He could not have return in that day when He was issuing the warning because this advancement in knowledge that Daniel spoke of was far into the future, that’s why God told Daniel to seal that book until a later generation. It is this increase in knowledge that would have the world on the verge of self-destruction that Jesus would step in to stop before all life one earth would be destroyed. There’s no way man could have destroyed all life on earth in a war 2000 years ago, man had to wait for the invention of the nu-clear bomb which was far into the future. No, the Lord did not know the exact day and hour of His physical return, but He did know the season of it, it would be when man had advanced in the increase of knowledge that Daniel spoke of. After the creation of the nu-clear bomb, in the end-time. Do you believe Jesus did not know just how long it would take for the world go from people walking or riding horse and buggy everywhere they had to go to them digging the seen with a gangster lean new fancy sport cars and jetting across the world in their flying machines? You could not possibly believe that. No, Jesus did not know the exact day or hour of His physical return, but He did know what would be the conditions of the world at His return, and He knew it was far into the future and not two thousand years ago. Therefore, be watchful, be vigilant, because you know not the day or hour of your death when the master will come for you. It simply means, whenever He comes for you, weither tonight or at the last trumpet blast, be ready. His physical return would be in the end-times after the great increase in knowledge that we are witnessing taking place today. Notice, in Matthew 24:42-44, Jesus in this verse of scripture says anything about not knowing the day or hour of His return in this particular instruction to his followers, He says, we know not the hour of that return. But the rapture is speaking of His return when the world is on the verge of self-destruction, and if He didn’t step in there would be no flesh alive on earth, of that day, He admits that He know not the hour or day of that physical return. Surely, the Lord knows our hour of death before it happens. He never stated in Matthew 24:42-44 that He didn’t know that hour of our death. This is two different statements by the Lord that Mr. Stewart is trying to cram together and make it appear as a single statement. Now here’s where he exposes his own deception with Hebrews 11:5 that I spoke of earlier. Stewart states: "By faith Enoch was TRANSLATED that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had TRANSLATED him: for before his TRANSLATION he had this testimony, that he pleased God." —Hebrews 11:5 “In Hebrews 11:5 we learn that Enoch was “translated” that he should not see death. However, this presents a problem because Romans 6:23 teaches that the wages of sin is death, and Romans 5:15 says that all men have sinned and therefore must die. Elijah was also caught up into a whirlwind of fire the Bible says, escaping natural death (2nd Kings 2:11). This is why some Bible students believe that Enoch and Elijah will be the two End Time prophets during the Revelation, who will be killed by the Antichrist (Revelation 11:3-12). This is speculation, as we do not know for certain.” That’s according to David Stewart. Why didn’t Stewart make this statement in his opening statement? He introduced Hebrews 11:5 as fact to support his argument along with Matthew 24:42-44 in his pretribulation rapture argument, as part of the biblical proof he claims to have of a pre-tribulation rapture. Here he now basically admits that this doesn’t work as a rapture, but still he stated it as fact earlier. Again, do you see the games that must be played with the truth in order to try to prove an unsound doctrine through scripture? They just can’t do it, they must use deceptive tactics and rip scripture apart and place scripture where they want it. A terrible mis-use of the Word of God! Is this not, at the very least, confused thinking? At worst intentional, deception! Mr. Stewart needs to get that straight with God because something is very wrong here. Nowhere is it stated here that Enoch was raptured to heaven, but translated, he could have been translated to another planet, awaiting his time to return to earth. There are many worlds in the universe, many mansions in the father’s house, which the universe is, but there is only one third heaven, and scripture does not state that Enoch when to heaven. Jesus said, no man has ascended into heaven, but he who has descended or came down from heaven. John 3:13. So, how could Enoch have been raptured to heaven? Not even John the Baptizer ascended into heaven, and according to Jesus, John was greater than Enoch. Jesus said; no man born of a woman is greater than John, and yet he didn’t ascend into heaven. I keep telling people, those who try to prove this false doctrine, rips apart the word of God. where ever Enoch went to await his return to earth, it could not have been to heaven. Or was Jesus wrong in His statement? Here Mr. Stewart seems to be using trickery, he seems to be planting seeds of confusion in the minds of fearful Christians. Stewart states: “I have heard some Bible scholars teach that Enoch was the first man to be Raptured, i.e., translated; but I do not agree with that. The Bible teaches that Jesus is the “firstfruits” in 1st Corinthians 15:20 and 23, “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept... But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.” Jesus was killed, and then rose from the dead victorious in a glorified body. Likewise, believers will be changed; corruption shall put on incorruption; and our mortal bodies will be changed into immortal bodies, glorified in the likeness of our precious Lord's body. This will happen only at the Rapture when the Lord physically returns FOR His own, and not before.” Here he’s still trying to distance himself from something he presented as fact in his opening, the reason he’s spending so much time talking about Enoch is because he know he has a problem here, he’s trying to conceal the plot before you are on to it, he knows the problem is there, because it’s a creation of his own making. It states here, that Christ is the first to be resurrected, after that, they that are Christ’s at His coming, at the end of time. Nowhere in this is there any mention of Jesus resurrecting or rapturing [a secret rapture] of anyone. Stewart states: “The Lord Jesus Christ is the only Person to ever have died and then raised up and given a glorified body. Enoch and Elijah were miraculously removed from the world, but the Bible does not say that they were changed nor that they received glorified bodies. I would tend to agree that these two men are likely the prophets whom God will send to preach for 3 1/2 years during the Tribulation and then they will be killed, but again, I do not know for certain nor would I argue the point.” He's still got Enoch on the brain, he’s still trying to get you to not remember that he presented the rapture of Enoch as fact in the very beginning. All he’s really doing is proving that he knows he did something that’s not right and he’s now trying to hide of disassociate himself from. I too, believe these two men may be the prophets who is murdered by the anti-Christ, but I don’t see the connection to the timing of a secret rapture. This is the kind of stuff that made me take a second look at the pretribulation rapture doctrine. None of it ever seems to come together as a whole. Stewart states: “The Bible Plainly Teaches A Pretribulation Rapture” “The Church will be removed from the earth BEFORE the appearing of the Antichrist (2nd Thessalonians 2:7,8).” Let’s look at 2nd Thessalonians2:7-8 and see if we can see the timing of the rapture: “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.” I looked at these two verses of scripture over and over and cannot find where it states that the rapture is either before or after the great tribulation. And he did not take the time to explain this. Who is this “he” that is being referred to that will be taken out of the way, and in what way does this help in explaining the timing of the rapture. Just more confusion! Stewart states: “There isn't one verse in the entire Bible which indicates that the Church will go through the Tribulation period.” This is simply not true, as we saw in part one of this series, https://youtu.be/c-SPDCcyzgQ the souls under the altar who were asking the Lord how long it will be before they will be judged, those who killed them. Now this is after the pale horse rides out, during the great tribulation period. What was the Lord’s respond? Let’s go to scripture and see: “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” Revelation, chapter nine, verse 6. King James Bible. Their brothers who will be killed by the anti-Christ even after the pale horse rides out are their Christian brothers. Revelation 9:6 destroys his argument and proves that Christians will be killed by the anti-Christ, even after the pale horse rides. You cannot prove a pretribulation rapture by scripture with scripture, you will only rip scripture apart.
Stewart states: In fact, if you want proof of a Pretribulation Rapture, you'll find it simply by studying the Bible. If we compare Scriptures having to do with the Translation of the Church (i.e., the Rapture), with those passages relating to the setting up of Christ's Kingdom, one can only reasonably conclude that it would be utterly IMPOSSIBLE for these two events to occur simultaneously. Let's look at some of the comparisons: Now here he contradicts himself, he stated earlier that the translation of Enoch was not rapture, but he was translated, but now he says translated means rapture. But he wants us to conclude from all this confusion that he’s found biblical proof of a pre-tribulation rapture. He also puts man’s limitations on the infinite God. He says its impossible for the infinite God to do two things simultaneously. He says it’s impossible, it’s impossible for God to do something because man cannot do it. Is there anything to hard for God? He presents a poor and weak image of his God. He continues: Matthew 25:31,32 - "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. And before him shall be gathered all nations" Carefully notice that Jesus is going to sit upon His throne in Jerusalem when He returns, and the nations of earth will be gathered before Him to be judged. How can this fact be reconciled with 1st Thessalonians 4:17, which states that the saints will be caught up together to meet with the Lord in the air?” Here again, he places his disabilities on the everywhere present God, since he can’t do it, therefore its again impossible for God to do it. We are always in the air, the earth sits in the air, the air is where demons rule from, their throne [in the air] that shall be thrown down and Christ’s government enthroned, in the air, on earth and though out all creation. So, I’m sure that Mr. Stewart would agree that the air is where Satan rules from, he rules the earth from the air, according to scripture, and is still connected to the earth. This Satan can and is doing, but Mr. Stewart says it’s impossible for the all-powerful God to do the same thing. Who is this weak and very limited god that Mr. Stewart speaks of? Let me remind you of what Jesus said about no man ascending into heaven. He states, only the Son of Man, who came down from heaven and is, in heaven. Now, when Jesus made this statement, He was on earth, how could he be in heaven and on earth at the same time? The same reason he can set up his throne in Jerusalem and be in the air at the same time; because He’s God, and there’s nothing He can’t do. The president of the USA governs all fifty states, yet he can be in only one state at a time, and yet he governs it all. Yet, God is in all places at all times, He’s on earth and in the air and everywhere. In fact, the earth and the air are one unit, up in the air is just another room in the Father’s house. God is not limited to the limitations of man or man’s thoughts and imaginations. You cannot prove a pretribulation rapture doctrine through scripture, it’s just not going to work. So, according to Mr. Stewart, Satan can rule his people from the air, but it’s impossible for God to rule his people from that same air. So, here he attributes more power to Satan then to God. In the air is still being in the earth because the earth is in the air, if the earth were not in the air, we would have no air to bread. The air and the earth are one unit. Stewart states: Matthew 25:32 to 34 - "And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world." When the Lord returns to the earth at the Second Coming WITH His own, He is going to gather the nations of the earth together—separating the sheep from the goats (vs. 32), i.e., the righteous from the unrighteous. The sheep (saved) will simply enter the Kingdom, and the goats (unbelievers) be cast into everlasting fire. The test in this judgment is the treatment accorded by the nations to those whom Christ here calls "my brethren." These brethren are the Jewish remnant (i.e., the 144,000) who will have preached the Gospel of the kingdom to all nations during the Tribulation. Carefully notice, there is NO mention of a resurrection and the persons judged are the nations of the earth. In sharp contrast, according to 1st Corinthians 15:52 there WILL BE a resurrection at the time of the Rapture.” Now he contradicts the word of God he just quoted as fact, that at the Lord’s appearing and not before will there be the rapture. Now he claims that there is no rapture at the Lord’s appearing. He skips the many things that must take place before Jesus sets up His Kingdom; like Jesus laying hold of that demon called Satan and bound him in prison for a thousand years. The reason only 144000 Jews are marked in the forehead is because they had rejected the mark of Christ to their forehead, throughout their existence they had rejected Christ. All true Christians are already marked in their forehead with the Mark of God, they have accepted their mark even before the great tribulation, even now. If you are a true Christians, you even now have the mark of God to your forehead, there’s no need for the angel to mark you again, only those who has not been so marked. If you are not now marked in the forehead with the mark of God, then you are not one of His. Stewart state: “It is important to recognize when Jesus returns to set up His Kingdom there is NO Rapture, i.e., no one is caught up into the air to be with the Lord.” That’s right, if there were another rapture when Jesus sets up His Kingdom that would mean there would be more than one rapture, by that time the rapture has already taken place at the last trumpet blast, by the time of the Lord is setting up His Kingdom, this is after the last trumpet blast, why would there be another rapture. Remember, after the resurrection, believers will have a body like Jesus, who know how much power these bodies possess. Jesus walked through walls, He said he was in heaven and on earth at the same time. We can’t even begin to imagine if the resurrection bodies might be able to be in the air and on earth at the same time; remember, the resurrection body is like unto Jesus’ body, with amazing powers, who said he was on earth and in heaven at the same time. Stewart states: “People who become Christians during the Tribulation Period will enter with their earthly bodies into the Millennium. Proof of this is found in Isaiah 65:20-25, and in Zechariah 8:5 where children are mentioned playing during the Millennium. Those saved during the Tribulation will enter physically into the Millennial Kingdom. Where will these humans come from if the saints are ALL raptured and changed at the END of the Tribulation, i.e., a Postribulation Rapture? Obviously, this cannot be. The only logical conclusion is a Pretribulation Rapture!” That’s according to David Stewart. Everybody will have physical bodies in the Millennium because this is after the physical resurrection or transformation of the physical body at the last trumpet call. It seems that Mr. Stewart believes that the resurrection saints are spirit beings, every living human being on earth after the last trumpet call will have physical bodies, the creation was meant to be and is physical. The rapture doesn’t means being taken away, it simply states that we will meet the Lord in the air. Even pony men meet each other in the air and above the air at the space station and yet they are still connected to the earth. Man and Satan can do this, but according to Mr. Stewart, this is impossible with God. Who is this weak god that Mr. Stewart represents? Stewart further states: Jude 1:14 - "And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints." Carefully notice that NO mention is made of a Rapture at this time. Quite the contrary, here the Lord Jesus is returning with TEN THOUSANDS of His saints to the earth.” Yes, he’s coming to earth with His saints, the souls under the altar, but these must also be resurrected into their physical bodies, they are not raptured saints, but saints who died in service to the Lord as St. Stephen did, I’m willing to bet that Stephen is one of those saints who will return with Jesus, his soul is in heaven under the altar, but his body is still in the grave in the earth, and at the return of the Lord, at the last trumpet blast, his soul must be reunited with his physical body to make him complete again, at this point he’s now a resurrected saint and not before. He has now put on immortality, with his new immortal body. Why would the Lord leave all the millions of souls under the altar in heaven, He will bring all those who has died in the Lord with him, but all are resurrected at the same time at the last trumpet blast. These souls that come with the Lord are not resurrected or raptured saints, because they do not have their physical resurrected bodies, they are souls without bodies, disembodied souls, incomplete until united with their resurrected physical bodies. that will be resurrected at the same time as everyone else. They are not resurrected, but disembodied souls. They are not complete until resurrected into physical bodies. And that doesn’t happen until the Lord’s return. The only physical man in heaven before the rapture is the Man; Jesus the Christ, all others are spirits or disembodied souls that must be resurrected. Stewart states: “That is drastically different than having our bodies changed, in the twinkling of an eye, and being "caught up" into the clouds to meet with the Lord. It would make no sense to say that Jesus is going to Rapture the saints, while coming to set up His Kingdom at the same time. Proof that this is not the case is the fact that Jesus will gather the nations and separate the sheep from the goats, i.e., the saved from the unsaved, at His Second Coming. Why would Jesus separate the saints TWICE? That is, why would Jesus Rapture the saints into the air, and then regather the SAME people a short time later when He arrived on the earth? Do you see the dilemma of the Postribulation heresy?” Here he is destroying his own argument and casting doubt on the word of God which states that He shall separate the sheep from the goats. He asks a great question; why would God separate the saints twist? The answer to that question could only be that they were not separated before this time, there was no secret rapture. Jesus said to let both the wheat and the tares grow together until His return: “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” [Matthew 13:24-30] KJV Notice that the Lord says let them grow together until the harvest, He never said He would separate some of the wheat here and leave others to the harvest. He said let them all grow together until the harvest; and what is the harvest? [Rev 14:15-16] explains this harvest: “And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.” You don’t plant crop in April and harvest them in May, you must wait until the harvest season. Nowhere in any of this is there any mention of a secret harvest, or secret rapture, but that they all grow together until the harvest or until Christ’s return. This is scriptural evidence that debunks Mr. Stewart’s secret harvest or secret rapture and his so-called scriptural evidence of a pre-tribulation rapture. I don’t know what bible Mr. Stewart is reading but, it can’t be the word of God because the word contradicts his gospel of fear. He makes it seems like everything is going to happen within the first five minute after the Lord’s arrival, everything must happen in that instance. Is it impossible for God to do both at the same time? Is anything too hard for God? His argument is very weak. what doesn’t make sense to finite man could make perfect sense to an infinite, everywhere present God. In other words, according to his theory, God cannot multitask, only man is capable of this complicated task. He continues to present a very weak image of his God. The space station is a command post, so according to Mr. Stewart, man can set up his command post in the air and is still in contact with earth, but this is impossible for the infinite God to accomplish. Pony man can rule from the high ground, but it’s impossible for God to do. That according to David J. Stewart. He makes my argument, if when He comes, He must separate the goats from the sheep, the wheat from the tares, that could only mean that there are Christians in the earth when He arrives. One will be taken and another left and the other is left to destruction, where all who are left are thrown in to the lake of fire. This pretribulation rapture is full of twisted, taken out of its context, applied where it doesn’t belong, and a just twisted misuse of scripture. There will be saved and unsaved people in the earth when the Lord arrives, no physical man ascends into heaven until after this time. Stewart states: “Further Evidence of a Pretribulation Rapture” “God will NOT allow the Church to go through the Tribulation Period. It will be a time of atrocities as the world has never known! God wouldn't destroy the wicked in Noah's day until Noah and his family were all safely aboard the ark. Not one drop of rain fell until Noah and his family were on the ark, and God had shut the door. Afterwards, the rains fell and the wicked were utterly destroyed.” Somebody needs to study their bible again, Jesus warned the churches in Revelation, that in the tribulation, some will be thrown into jails, some will be killed for His name sake. This is in the book of Revelation, just before the destruction of the tribulation begins. God allowed His Son and all the prophets and disciples to face their great tribulation but kept them in their hour of temptation. There is no evidence here of a pretribulation or secret rapture. But this end-time church is so full of fear that they will rewrite the word of God to calm that fear, when the true warriors for Christ faced the beast, the very same beast and paid with their life, they were true warriors for Christ. There is never any evidence for a pretribulation secret rapture. Stewart states: “The same is true of Lot and his family. Although Lot was a backslidden believer, he was nevertheless a "just man," a righteous man (2nd Peter 2:7,8). We read in Genesis 19:22, "Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou become thither." These words were spoken by the angel whom God had sent to reign down fire and brimstone upon Sodom and Gomorrah. No judgment could fall upon Sodom, until Lot and his family were removed. Likewise, the Church will be Translated (Raptured) away from this sin-cursed world before the Tribulation.” Using his logic, one would think that no servant of God would ever face tribulation, when it’s just the opposite, true servants of God has always been under attack by the enemy, this is spiritual warfare. Did God love Lot more the He loved John the Baptist who was beheaded for his witness for Christ? No, there are natural disasters, there are wars, there are auto accidents, in these things, Servants of God die just like non-believers. Innocent babies die when bombs are dropped in war, Christians die just like others, why hasn’t God removed them before these terrible things happen to them? There’s no telling how many hundreds of thousands or even millions of Christians Rome killed, why wasn’t they kept from this terrible death? Is it that maybe, God never promised this in the way man is twisting it to promote an unsound doctrine? Sulfur did fall down on Sodom and Gomorrah, but bombs are dropping in the east every day, and with the body count there are many Christians. Imaging being a Christian and living in Afghanistan, and you don’t reject Christ and accept Allah, you see in the news what happens to them, they are either beheaded or burned alive, you can’t tell me that these Christians are not living in the great tri-bulation. The tribulation is now, and Christians are still in the world being killed by the anti-Christ. It’s amazing how fearful Christians in the West with their great military machine believe themselves to be more loved by God than the non-white peoples of the earth. But if they would stop listening to lies and seek the truth they will realize that the thing they are so proud of that sets them apart from so-called third-world Christians and keeps them safe is the thing that’s most despised by Christ, and it is they and their European great military machine that they put their hopes in is the same machine they will turn on the Lord at His return and commit mass suicide. They somehow feel that they are more special to God then the many people in non-western countries who are being martyr by the anti-Christ for their testimony for Christ. They with all their stolen riches and power sacrifices nothing but expect to inherit all. They confuse stolen riches and power to be gifts from God, but all who tried to ascend to world dominance had great wealth and power starting with Babylon the Great, and all have been in rebellion against heaven and this end-time apostate church is no different from the false religion of Babylon and in fact is an extension of Babylon and Rome. Remember what Jesus said about this end-time church that is lukewarm who care only about their riches and believing that all is well with them, when they are really poor and naked; He said he will spit them out of His being. When they expect to ascend and be raptured into heaven, instead they will descend into the sides of the pit; turned into hell. “But the cowardly shall not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.” Now the way he talks about Lot, using his logic, then no believer in Christ should ever face tribulation, if that’s the case, how do he explain what happened with Job; now that was great tribulation. All are harvested at the time of harvest and not before. Stewart states: "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." -Revelation 3:10 The "word of my patience" in Revelation 3:10 is the Word of God. Here we have God's promise that because we have kept HIS WORD concerning salvation, i.e., because we have OBEYED the Gospel, He will keep us "from the hour of temptation" (i.e., the Tribulation Period). This seven-year period of tribulation is referred to in the Old Testament as The Time of Jacob's Trouble in Jeremiah 30:7-11...” Again, this is misleading, if God promised to remove his people before the tribulation, then what about the souls under the alter? They faced their great tribulation, God did not remove them, but kept them in their hour of temptations that they would not submit to that temptation in order to save their lives. They were kept in their hour of temptation, that they failed not. Some may say, but that was not the great tribulation. What could be a greater tribulation than having your head chopped off, being set afire alive, being ate-up by lions, being crucified up-side-down. Stewart claims that God promise to remove them to heaven in their hour of temptation. The tribulation is now! If the tribulation was not now, there would not have been so many Christians beheaded or set afire alive trying to put the word of God in our hands. It was in great tribulation that the reformers put the true word of God in our hands. The tribulation is now, and Christians are still in the world being killed by the anti-Christ because of their witness for Christ. Stewart states: "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him ... Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid. For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished." Here Mr. Stewart speaks of the time of Jacob’s trouble, and again, he doesn’t take the time to explain how this prove his argument of a secret rapture. He just throws it out there as he did with Hebrews 11:5 and I guest he think this is self-explanatory and proves he’s found scriptural evidence of a secret rapture. Please show me anywhere in this is where there any mention of a secret rapture. It will be when the Church is removed from the earth (i.e., after the Rapture) that God will again recognize the nation Israel in a special covenant relationship with Himself. During the Great Tribulation, a remnant out of Israel will repent and turn to their Messiah. They will become His witnesses (Revelation 7:3-8). I guest Mr. Stewart think that if he says the church will be removed from the earth enough times that makes it true even though he has never produced any evidence to support his claim of biblical evidence of a secret rapture. Here’s scripture evidence that Mr. Stewart is preaching another gospel. Revelation chapter two, verses eight to ten. King James Bible “And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” What did Jesus tell this church? He told them; to be faithful unto death! That’s great tribulation. If the church is already raptured, then this command of the Lord makes no sense. Now this is in the opening of the book of Revelation, and the purpose; to show the things that must shortly come to pass; The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John. What are some of these things that must shortly come to pass? Let’s see what the word of God says about what must shortly come to pass and not what fearful man has to say: “the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” The angel of the Lord is who we are to believe in this most important issue, he tells the servants of the Lord that they will face tribulation, some will be thrown into jail, others will pay with their lives. To deny this is to deny the clearly stated word of God. But this is what the fearful Christian is afraid of, persecution, but they will claim to be warriors for Christ. If you are warriors for Christ, get to warring and stop trying to run and hide and looking for a way out while your brothers are being murdered by the anti-Christ. O’ what a pitiful sight, fearful Christians, denying and changing the word of God for fear of those things that are coming upon the inhabited earth. Here’s what this fear leads to. The Lord said no coward shall inherit the Kingdom of heaven: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation chapter twenty-one, verse eight.” King James Bible. The angel ends his message of the tribulation with the warning that the fearful, some bible translation says, the cowardly, shall not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, but will have their part in the lake of fire, which is the second death. It’s no wonder the cowardly will have their part in the lake of fire. Just think of the many Christians who this cowardly spirit was passed on to by these bible twisting, God’s word denying, weak and fearful Christians. This Pretribulation Rapture is the work of fearful Christians who leads others to cowardly destruction. Bottom Line; the persecution that the fearful Christians are running from, now causes them to become the tool of Satan in the persecution of the true church because of their fear of the anti-Christ. The persecution of the church in America is not from Islam as many Christian want to believe, but is coming from them that claim to be followers of Christ, the very ones who think they are so good that God will allow his true followers like St, Stephen to be stoned to death but save them who claim to be of Christ, but find offense in Jesus. If you don’t believe this, just scan through the inter-net and check out some of the debates from so-called Christians when it comes to the homosexual lifestyle. Now, the Lord says this is one of the most terrible abominations a man can commit, for a man to lay with a man as with a woman. Now, these so-called Christians will discuss all the many sins of man, and how it will cause them to lose their soul. But just bring up man sleeping with man and the persecution of Christians by Christians begins. You will be labelled a bigot by those who expect God to rapture them from all harm, all the while they are harming the church, persecuting the preacher of righteousness who preaches what thus saith the Lord. They get very angry when having to discuss this abomination, that’s what God calls it, they find offense in Jesus. I had one so-called Christian, who also claim to be sinless, label me a homosexual on the inter-net before the world because he did not want to discuss this issue of man laying with man as with a woman, because he knew that this would cause him to lose friendship with the world. Their friendship with the world is more valuable to them then their relationship with God. If they are in business, they “will not be able to buy and sell” unless the receives the beast’s mark, that bible prophecy, they will lose customers, they will be unfriend on Facebook and they will be persecuted by the beast that they are so afraid of, so instead, they persecute the message of the gospel and yet believe they are special to God and await God’s rapture of them, the very God they found offense in. This is one way to flush out those who claim to be Christian, but instead persecute the Church of Christ, get them discussing this abomination of man sleeping with man and watch their reaction; this is the test to flush out those who have been over come by the beast and is now serving the beast because of this great fear of the beast or anti-Christ. This is why the fearful or cowardly Christian will be thrown into the lake of fire that they have led others to because of fear. I’m afraid of the things that the beast could do to me, Jesus had to pray hard when he knew he had to face this beast, He even asked His Father three time to remove this cup if it was at all possible. But in the end Jesus didn’t rewrite the word of God because of that fear but was empowered by His Father to face those fears. So, it’s understandable that there may be fear, but to rewrite the Word of God to calm those fears is not understandable nor is it acceptable. This rapture cult is full of lying prophets, full of more fear of the beast then fear of God. The fearful and cowardly shall not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven but shall be thrown into the lake of fire. [Jesus the Christ] I would suggest that all pre-tribers meditate and think hard on what the Lord could have meant by the cowardly. David J. Stewart is standing on shaky ground. I grew up in a very religious family, a religion of Spiritism and because of that up-bringing I was caught-up in the occult. I have many occult experiences that only led me deeper and deeper into the deep things of Satan. One of my addictions to the occult was the UFO phenomenal and spirit contact which is forbidden in the word of God. Playing around with deceiving spirits, that includes UFO's will lead to the soul's destruction, that is why I'm publishing this article as a warning to those who have not gotten involved in the truly deep things of Satan to stay clear! I was headed for Hell! Copyrights 2015 Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
