When God Planted those Trees
by Annie Glasel What God must have felt When He planted those trees For when Adam and Eve were old enough to know
I wish my son did not ask the questions He did Nor that I must answer "When you are old enough, You will know."
There are certain things I wish he were never old enough to know In knowing, a part of his innocence dies And some things Like that tree, really are not worth knowing
Yet my hope is that when he is old enough to know He is still young enough to be redeemed. I've written to ease my pain; I've written to hear my voice; I've written for vanity; I've written for sanity; I've written for fun; I've written for laughs; I've written for me; I've written for money. But until I write for God, this talent is for naught. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
