NEW BODY

NEW BODY Thought: Tired of the aches and pains from old age? Perhaps your suffering from some debilitating disease or cancer? I, myself are experiencing the effects of an autoimmune disease that comes with the good and bad days. There’s hope in the future that all these physical problems will be taken care of. How? Through the transformation of the old into the new that will last forever. Taking God at His Word of Truth he tells us at the time of the rapture or taking out of this world of all believers, we will be changed from the old diseased bodies into the new like Jesus after His resurrection. In His new body, Jesus walked through walls, mingled with the people and ate with the disciples for 40 days before his ascension into Heaven. It was a new immortal body that could float up into the sky and disappear in the clouds, a body that would never experience pain or disease again. Prayer: Father God, even though my body is full of pain and grief I know without a doubt, because you say so, that better days are ahead. I will rid myself of the old and put on the new and live forever in the Kingdom of light where you are. Amen Verse: I Cor. 15:46-49 LB “First, then, we have these human bodies and later on God gives us spiritual, heavenly bodies. Adam was made from the dust of the earth, but Christ came from heaven above. Every human being has a body just like Adam’s, made of dust, but all who become Christ’s will have the same kind of body as his—a body from heaven. Jut as each of us now has a body like Adam’s, so we shall some day have a body like Christ’s. “ (Read I Cor. chapt.15) Married 58 years, four children, nine grandchildren and three greats.
