Enemies Can Become Friends: President Trump Needs To Show Who Is The Boss
by Dr. Henderson Ward What I’m about to say will not make joyful reading for the liberals, so I will advise them to stop reading at this point. Good. President Trump’s heart is in the right place and if he could do what he wishes America would be a transformed country. The problem is that he is surrounded by people who do not buy in to his vision and are not in sync with his wish to move forward quickly and strike while his enemies are discomforted. President Trump is wrong to think that this collusion-with-the-Russian-thing is a ruse fabricated by the Democrats because Hillary Clinton lost the election, and if he plays hardball it will just go away. It won’t. President Trump needs to take concrete action to show that he is the legitimately elected President of the United States, is given the mandate to govern as he sees fit, and must not allow his detractors to set the agenda for his presidency. President Trump needs to act with boldness and resolution now or else he will be playing catch-up for the remainder of his presidency. Here is what President Trump needs to do now to change the whole trajectory of his presidency. His actions must be based on the lessons of history, and he must be bold and do what he sees as the right thing. Lesson of History 1. The Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service carried out an unprovoked military strike against the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor, on the morning of 7 December 1941. The very next day, 8 December, the United States declared war on Japan. As history shows, this war was vicious, and ugly, with huge numbers dying on both sides with some estimates putting the numbers quite high as can be seen here. Today Japan is regarded as a close ally of the USA, and is often referred to as America’s closest ally in Asia. Lesson of History 2. Following the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese on the morning of 7 December 1941, and the subsequent declaration of war on Japan by the USA a day later, the allied powers of Germany and Italy declared war on the USA on 11 December 1941. The USA in turn declared war on Germany and Italy, a bitter and very bloody war that ended in 1945. Today both Germany and Italy are regarded as close allies of the USA. I could go on and mention other countries that fought bloody wars against the US, but today those countries are close allies of the US, and one in particular – Great Britain – that fought viciously to deny America it’s independence, is now regarded as having the closest relationship of them all. Enemies do not have to remain enemies forever, and history is full of such examples. It is abundantly clear that, in spite of the fact that the establishment in America has vilified, demonised, and classed President Putin (and Russia) as bogeyman, President Trump sees him differently – as friend and ally. This is the root of the problem, the opposing views Americans hold of the leader of Russia. During the presidential campaign, Mr. Trump again and again praised President Putin and was vociferous in his admiration of the man. He pleaded with President Putin and the Russians to go find Hillary Clinton emails and expose her wrongdoings. Mr. Trump did not mince words, there was no equivocation, he was upfront and bold that he regarded President Putin as a friend and ally. All of this is a matter of public record. I am fairly certain that if President Trump had disclosed his tax returns during the presidential campaign, it might very well have shown financial involvement in Russia. So what? As a businessman he was entitled to legitimately invest his money where he wished. I am sure if he had done something illegal, the tax authorities would have jumped all over him. Folks, there is a lot of posturing here, a lot of noise being made, but this is pure guff from trouble-makers doing their thing. The records show that President Putin is a Christian, he changed the name of the famous city from Stalingrad to St. Petersburgh, he outlawed the obscene pu**y-riot band from performing in Russia, he is ferociously against same-sex marriage, and the list goes on. No wonder the liberals and the liberal main stream media despise him. Here is the Christian Pat Buchanan’s praise for Putin. Trump regards President Putin as a friend, and he has the right to do so. Friend tell friend secrets, and share confidences, and no one should be surprised if President Trump does the same. He must now bring his administration in line with his vision for America. That is why he was elected President. President Trump should now go with his heart, declare Russia an ally, treat it as such, and drag if necessary his administration along and show who is boss. This would kill his collusion with Russia foolishness dead. Amen. President Obama did it his way, now it is time for President Trump to follow his heart. This is President Trump’s time to impact history, and the world is looking on to see if the pendulum, that has swung viciously to the left, can be righted Enough said.
