Stop!!! Thief!!!
by Katopeka Nkhoma They say procrastination is the thief of time and that is so true on many levels.
Now that we have dealt with fear, the next downward force we need to deal with is procrastination. Not only does procrastination steal your time, it steals your future.
What you do, do quickly! Don't procrastinate. What Judas was about to do was to Jesus' disadvantage but a great gain to the world. Jesus did not want any delays because the fate of the world depended on what Judas was about to do.
The fate of the world may not rest on what you are supposed to do but your destiny does. Many a great destinies are robbed by this thief called procrastination, don't let yours be one of them.
Even God works with time. There are appointed times for so many things, for so many breakthroughs. When you miss the appointed time due to procrastination, it will take you a while before that same opportunity presents to you again. Unfortunately, some opportunities are once in a life time opportunities, once gone, they can't be recovered.
Procrastination robs you of your appointed times with destiny.
Everything has it's time, when you miss the timing you miss the blessing of that moment. For everything there is a season. Life is about seasons. Each season has its blessing and each blessing demands certain actions from us. When you procrastinate, the whole season goes out of sync. Imagine a whole season lost!
If a farmer were to procrastinate, put off for tomorrow what should be done today, the whole season and ultimately the whole year will be lost. Life is like farming. Every act and deed is a seed we sow. Don't let procrastination steal your destiny. Sow those acts at the right time, "what you do, do quickly" and you will harvest the results quickly. What are you waiting for? Go forth and be successful in life! Kato Nkhoma is a seasoned Pastor with circa 15 years under his belt.
