We Only Have This Moment
by Linda Wattley

We take life for granted when we do not give thanks for the little things which are actually big things. I am so thankful to hear my loved ones' voices. I am thankful to keep the strong strong. I am thankful for what is coming in my life. God has great plans for us. We have to have our hands open to receive His greatness for us.

Children were designed to be a blessing for us. They are the reminder of the beginning of time when life was pure. Anytime you spend with children should remind us we were there at people's mercy. As children we had a lot to give. We would hope adults thrived on our blessings we had to offer.

My grandchildren reminds me of what is most important. When I spend time with my granddaughters, there is not anything else more important than them. When I am with myself without them, I carry this same reality into my daily life. God is so amazing how He lets us know this moment is the most valuable time we will ever have. I give thanks for acknowledging this truth.
