Do not neglect
by Cyril Almond In this busy world of ours, it is so easy to neglect what God has given us. Hebrews chapter 2. verses 3-4. 3.How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation. Which at first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4. God bearing witness both with signs and wonders. With various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will. Did you hear that ACCORDING TO HIS OWN WILL. That is where we often get it wrong with God. We have a will and we like to think that a certain gift is ours. Usually because that particular gift we like. And feel comfortable with. But no, it does not work like that. If we are to be gifted by the Holy Spirit, then we need to be open to his leading, not our own. If we want our own way with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit We are then neglecting the will of God. We were saved and seeing as God knew us before the foundation of the world. Then he knows the timing and his gifting to us. How many times have we heard, this thing did not go well because of neglect. God will still confirm is word with signs wonders and miracles.
