Are We Gone Yet?
by George Bounds CHRONICLES OF INEVITABLE TIMES (ARE WE GONE YET?) June 13, 2007 11:13 Are we missing yet? Have millions of people still not disappeared? By the time these words get to you that may have happened. That will mean that you have been left behind. You weren't abandoned; you just didn't get in the boat that we left in, even though there was plenty of room. I guess maybe you are one of those people the apostle Peter spoke of in his second letter. (In the Holy Bible read second Peter, chapter three?) Things are about to get really tough for you so get in the boat that is left. It's fireproof, and everybody that's not in it when Jesus comes again is going to wind up in a lake of fire. It's not heat resistant though. You won't get burned up but you are sure gonna get hot. Maybe you are one of those people Peter spoke of in his letter. You won't hear the words of this writer so you may as well put this down and walk away. But, before you go this writer implores you to see the words as they were first presented to men. Find a Bible and read second Peter, chapter three, verses nine and ten. You, who remain, know this. God is reaching out to you. He is not going to throw you into hell. He will not turn His back on you. The only people who are going to hell are those who turn their backs to Him. All you have to do is ask Jesus to save you. John, chapter fourteen, verse six explains that to you. The only sin that is unforgivable is the sin of refusing Jesus. Anything else you may have done in your life will be forgiven if you will just ask Jesus to come into your life, and throw those sins away. At my point in time that is still an easy thing to. Once Jesus comes to get His church, His people, those that are waiting for Him.well., it's not going to be easy anymore. I will explain more in future entries. (As long as I'm here to make entries.) In the meantime get a Bible, get your head in it, and get The Word of God.. Get it? Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
