You Have To Change Your Outlook
by Irma Green

You have to change the seen to the unseen. How we see things is very important. You see, it's not how bad or hopeless your situation may seem to be - it's how you perceive it. You make your life what it is by your perception of it. Whatever you perceive it to be is what it will be.

In our victory walk, we must put things is a Godly perception. You see your problem as a mountain - God sees it as a "molehill"!! God can take your mountain and shrink it down into a molehill. It's all in how you perceive it.

Since I began my victory walk, I no longer see mountains in my life - I see molehills. The mountains didn't move - but in my sight, in my spiritual eye, it has become a molehill; and as a molehill, I can step right over it and keep on getting up. The Word of God is so engrafted in me that I can take a licking and keep on ticking. God wants us to be men and women of spiritual vision. When you pray, He doesn't want you to pray according to what you see with your natural eyes or understanding or according to your circumstances..

He doesn't want you to pray with your eyes focused on your problem; He wants you to pray with your spiritual vision focused on His unlimited power and promises to you. In your spiritual vision you will see your needs met.

2 Corinthians 4:18a "While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary."

If you can see it - it is temporary. And anything that is temporary can change. This Scripture tells us not to look at the seen but at the unseen. How can we look at what is unseen? The seen is what you see!! The unseen is what you "want to see!" Don't look at the thing you can see - picture in your mind the thing you "want" to see - the unseen!!

Example: If it is finances, don't look at your empty wallet - see the abundance of money in your wallet - that you may change your seen (empty wallet) to the unseen (an abundance of money). Remember the Scripture says, "For the things which are seen are temporary." (Temporary empty wallet.)

You must stop looking at the seen and look at the unseen. Remember, "the seen is what you see; the unseen in what you want to see!!"
