Believe You Receive When You Pray
by Irma Green Mark 11:24 - Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. This Scripture says believe you receive and you will have. In other words if you do not believe you will not have. News flash: if you are worrying it is quite obvious you are not believing. Worry is the opposite of belief. You cannot do both at the same time. The Bible says you cannot serve two masters. James 1:6-7 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Those who come to God must come in faith believing that He will reward them. To pray the answer into existence is to get your mind off the problem and onto the answer. Think of the answer only - do not at any time think about or speak the problem. Because if you believe you receive when you pray, why would you think or speak about the problem. Psalm 16:8 - I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. What are you looking at? Your problem or your problem solver. Scripture says, "Look to Jesus the author and finisher of your faith." Looking to Jesus - not to man. Stop going to man when you have a problem, and in prayer go to God. And God will either send you to the right man to help you - or He will send the right man to you. He sent one widow to a man for help; for the other widow He sent the man to her. Some times he will send you to a person; sometimes He will send the person to you!! Rev. K.
