Jesus The Bridge To Heaven ( mini series) lesson 9
by Stephen Vattimo The goal of this lesson is to present what the Holy Bible teaches about what a person must do to restored to a holy fellowship with God, through His Son Jesus. outline of lesson 10 : Are you ready to put your trust in Jesus The Christ ? * As your redeemer ? The One who paid for your sin debt , that separated you from fellowship with God. * As your Savior ? The one who has the authority to rescue you from the eternal punishment of The Lake Of Fire . * As your keeper ? The one who will give you eternal life , and seal you in His Holy Spirit . * As your provider ? The One who will provide all that you will need to obey His commands , To call you , To lead you , in the way you should live; that you are able be pleasing in God's sight. What will you do with this Jesus ? Acts chapter 4 : 12 " And there is salvation in no one else ; for there is no other name under Heaven that has been given among men , by which we must be saved . " A . What will happen to those who receive Jesus as their personal Savior ? John chapter 3 : 16 " For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. " B . What will happen to those who reject Jesus as their personal Savior ? John chapter 3 : 18 " He who believes in Him is not judged ; but he who does not believe has been judged because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son Of God. " The Bible, God's instruction book on how to enter fellowship with Him. John chapter 4 : 23 - 24 " But an hour is coming , and now is , When the true worshiper shall worship The Father in Spirit and Truth ; for such people The Father seeks to be His worshipers. ( 24 ) God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth . " Will you be a Cain , or an Abel ? Genesis chapter 4 : 3 - 7 " So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to The Lord of the first fruit of the ground. ( 4 ) And Abel, on His part also brought of the firstling of his flock and of their fat portions . And The Lord had regard for Abel and for his offering ; ( 5 ) but for Cain and for his offering , He had no regard. So Cain became very angry and his countenance fell. ( 6 )Then The Lord said to Cain, " Why are you angry ? And why has your countenance fallen ? ( 7 ) If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up ? And if you do not do well , sin is crouching at the door ; and it's desire is fore you, but you must master it. " What must a person do to be saved ? Romans chapter 10 : 9 - 10 " If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. ( 10 ) For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses , resulting in salvation. " This concludes lesson 9. This is the end of this teaching, mini series.
