"YOUR Voice IS Necessary"
by Dr. Hill Did you know that the last statistics I read stated that 47% of the people in the workforce are unhappy with their jobs? There may be several reasons why that may be but I want us to take a look at where we as Christians in the marketplace should be. Because we have been given "gifts" from the Holy Spirit we should be a voice no matter where we are and no matter what position we are in. Wisdom will overshadow the unwise any day. I am not saying that we are people of arrogance and pride but I am saying if we seek God we have an "unfair advantage" to those who are not in the Kingdom of God. We have the ability to provide wisdom on how to increase the moral of employees. We have wisdom to introduce systemic ways to increase production. We have wisdom and insight to implement programs that will be effective for at-risk children. We have a voice and that is WHY God has us in the marketplace. We are not in the marketplace to join others to say "thank God it's Friday" but to thank God for a source of income and a way to glorify Him through our lifestyle. We have the ability to begin businesses that will change the spiritual and economic flow of a society. We have a VOICE and we should have the resources to provide a higher quality of life for many. Please DO NOT join the others in thanking GOD IT'S FRIDAY but begin to thank God He can use you "right where you are". Today PLEASE reevaluate your thoughts of your position in the marketplace..someone is waiting for your voice of wisdom and your lifestyle of integrity. What will YOUR VOICE speak to? Why are you where you are? For some of you "if" you complete your assignment where you are God will make room for you somewhere else. You cannot be promoted until you outgrow your present assignment. P.S. I have made up my mind to be surrounded by them that are wise.....to learn from them. I am not saying that I will not be surrounded by others BUT those that lend their time to me will be WISE. Time is very short even if God gives us 50-60 more years to live. My goal is not retirement but fulfillment of destiny.
