HEALING OF YOUR LIFE
by ABRAHAM ALADEMERIN JERICHO is a town well situated (NIV) - the situation of the city is pleasant (KJV). Jericho is like Nigeria, a fertile land, well placed, flowing with milk and honey, with mineral resources of many kinds discovered in all parts of the country but neglected and abandoned with only focus on petrol, diesel and kerosene that we even have in surplus but petrol being imported because of corruption and mismanagement of our refineries.. In the past, when we were young in the 60s and 70s, most especially in the Western Region, it was cocoa, rubber, and palm oil in surplus that boast its economy but today everything is neglected. Your own town in your own country may also be like Jericho or Nigeria well situated or its situation pleasant but today the situation is bad. Secondly, Jericho may be related to people's lives, families and businesses which is my major concern. You are well created (Psalm 139:14): You are fearfully made (dominion over other creatures). You are wonderfully made in the image of God with a crown of glory, honour, and dominion (Gen 1:26-28; Psalm 8). You have a job, profession or business that if God laid hands upon will prosper in good health. But like Jabez in 1 Chron 4:9-10, the devil has tampered with your crown of honour. How? 1. But the water is bad (NIV) - is neglected (KJV): Water to wet the land is bad. Water to drink is bad (bitter). Situations of life are bad everywhere in Nigeria. Bad governance and bad implementation of budget in Nigeria. Corruption and tribalism had polluted the spring of our water. Demonic pollution and hindrances is effective daily with sins reigning. In the church today, self invited affliction through lack of welfare and charity, non payment of tithes, stinginess in giving offering, constant faith without works, sentiments, backbiting, blasphemy, selfishness, pride and murmuring have polluted our fountain of water and lives. For all these reasons and many more, the water (many lives) is bad. 2. The land is unproductive (NIV). The ground barren (KJV). HOW? Businesses are not flourishing. Your family is good, you married in the will of God, but no finance to water it, and your business to make it productive is sick. Even if your life foundation is faulty, God is God of possibilities. Today, God will heal you and your family. He will heal your land and your source. He will heal your job, business and profession (vs. 20-22). 3. Solution came to Jericho: Your solution is at hand. The prophet of God said:- (a) Bring a new bowl (cruse) = Bring your pure heart (Pr 4:23; Lk 6:45) (b) Put salt in it. Salt is a symbol of peace (Mk 9:50). It is used for seasoning food (Job 6:6). Holy Ghost is the one to salt your life and family. (c) They brought it to him. What have you brought to God today? Will you just say I have brought my heart, put salt in it Lord. 4. He went out to the spring and threw the salt into it: The spring in your life is your source of existence in your family foundation and heredity, etc. God is going out to touch your family foundation, your home, your life, and your business today. He will touch your heart today. He will throw salt into your source of existence, into your family, into your life, into your job, into your health, into your business, etc. Your terrible situations will be salted and become credible (vs. 21b) The Lord says I should tell you: The bitter water you see today shall be made sweet (Ex 15:22-25). The bitterness of your soul, your emotional sickness shall be healed with joy (Ruth 1:19-21; 4:13-17). Jeremiah 33:6-9 (I Prophesy Into Your Life): Vs.6: Your portion is health and cure physically, spiritually, financially and righteously. Receive revelations of God's abundance of peace and truth. Vs.7: Your captivity is returned today, and the Lord will build them as at His creation. Vs.8: You are cleansed from all your iniquities, your sins are forgiven and washed away by the blood of Jesus. Vs.9: Your name before all the nations is changed today to JOY PRAISE HONOUR. All nations shall praise our God. Your life terrible situation is healed today. Goodness and all the prosperity of God is released upon you today in the mighty name of JESUS. Jeremiah 30:16-22 ( I Prophesy Into Your Life): Vs.16: - May the Lord devour every devourer of your life. Send all your adversaries into captivity. Make your spoiler a spoil. Give for a prey all they that prey upon you. Vs.17: - The Lord will restore health unto you. He will heal you of your wound. You are no longer an outcast, you are a glory to behold, and men shall seek after you. Vs.18: The Lord will bring again the captivity of your tents, and have mercy upon your dwelling places. Vs.19: - I decree, out of you, your family shall proceed thanksgiving and voice of melody. The Lord will multiply you and you shall not be few. The Lord will glorify you and you shall not be small. Vs.20: The Lord will establish your children and their congregation before Him. He will punish all that oppress your children. REMAIN BLESSED IN JESUS NAME.
