Financially French
by Ken Brooks

My french press broke today. Actually, it happened sometime late last night. This morning I used the coffee maker that drips. After one sip I was already missing my old french friend. The coffee was so weak, I was certain it was water's cousin.

Determined not to waste it, I poured the cup of dirty water back into the not so dynamic dripping device. After that, I added another scoop of grounds into the filter and ran the pot a second time. Viola! It tasted like coffee again! Bummer, I had to use double the beans.

Today, I had a revelation. Drip coffee pots; with their filters and function for saturation, causing you to use twice the amount of beans to get the same great flavor, are a waste of Kingdom finances. They are dumb. -That's my story ; )
