You are the one
I turn to for comfort
The one I can depend on
When things go caput

You are the one
Who sets me straight
When my heart is heavy
And the burden is great

You are the one
I turn to when I need a hug
You calm me down
Like a prescription drug

You are the one
On whom my life depends
Isn't it about time
We were more than friends

I am a fifty something family man with a passion for writing and I draw inspiration from those around me.
