Did You Watch the Sky
by Richard L. Provencher Did you watch the sky last night, I did and was amazed how sleek colours were more like an eyeball squished tightly peeking over the horizon wondering if I had been a good person, and so sure I was, because it is part of my DNA AND besides my momma taught me well, to grow up into a good Catholic boy, even be a priest and make the family so proud, but I decided no, 'cause I wanted to be married one day, raise children, come home to baking and other delights, and I did so with family time waiting for little ole me. 2011 Richard L. Provencher Richard enjoys writing poems; many of which have been published in Print and Online. He and his wife, Esther are also co-authors of stories and a print novel. They are "born again" Christians and very busy in their church, Abundant Life Victory International, in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. Article Source: http://www.faithwriters.com |
