Mirrors
by Melissa Martin After a therapeutic relationship is built with Cher, I bring out the mirrors. The assessment, treatment plan, and groundwork have been methodically arranged. Cher ponders on the mirrors and which to choose. The mirrors reflect the nature of humanity, but also each individual's innermost desires and fears. Albeit, the mirrors illuminate the hearts of both saints, sinners, and anyone in between. Each mirror tells a story of the looker. The mirrors' purpose is to promote profound existential and lasting change in mind, body, and soul. Cher and I decide she is ready to experience the mirrors. The mirror of motivation brings goals and objectives. The today mirror brings here-and-now experiences and stimulates living in the present moment. The mirror of the past brings hope for the future. The mirror of emotion brings energy for existence. The mirror of the psyche brings cognitive restructuring. The mirror of behavior brings accountability.
