To the Ends of the Earth
by Linda Watson Owen Oh, Church, you hold a treasure trove! Blessings unending lay in your hold! What are you doing with what I've given? Storing it up to take to Heaven? I've put into your earthly hands the means for rescue throughout the lands. They who are struggling and crying there need what I've put within your care. Did you not read or understand my purpose in giving this bold command to go into all the world and tell the message that saves a soul from hell? Dare you to keep resources given and squander my gifts on frivolous living? The price you pay for worldly fare rends a soul from Heaven's care. My trust you carry with your faith, yet sloth and pleasure has taken place in hearts I called to service wise to bring Life to others for whom I died! The loss you bring through choices weak has cost the souls of those I seek! No game is this to be replayed! A soul lost here cannot be saved! Their blood is squarely on your hands. You have the tools, the strength, the plan, that I have placed within your reach. Go tell the world! Go serve! Go preach! Time is wasting, and here you wait praying for bigger barns and rates. Invest what you have to carry my Word to those who are dying, who never have heard. The Ends of the earth are harvests in need of a Church that will rise up in Word and Deed to obey My Will and redeem the time! Live out My Love that they may be Mine! Oh, Church, to the ends of the earth you must go with courage that shows them the God whom you know. How else will they hear? How can they be saved unless you will sacrifice all for My sake? "He shall speak peace to the nations; His dominion shall be 'from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth."
