Man proposes, God disposes!
by Faith Seq Friends in Christ, I was reading the threat of North Korea this morning and my father's word comes to mind while he rests in his grave "Man proposes - God disposes!" I laughed as I remembered his faith and trust in the Almighty... not at him but at the foolish people who think they have power in their hand. The Bible does not warn us of a nuclear catastrophe but of wars and rumors of wars. If the world had to blow up by North Korea or the likes of them, our Beloved Lord would have told us so. So let us know that no matter how big the fist is of these tyrants and how large their might.... "GREATER IS HE WHO IS WITH US than he who is in this world." Man proposes - God disposes! Let us pray: Dear Beloved God, Almighty Creator, Sovereign Lord and Ruler of our lives, we bring to you North Korea and all tyrants of this world and place them under Your Feet. Thank You that You are always in control and that You oversee all things. We rest in the knowledge that no one and nothing can come against Your Power. We entrust this country and the people behind it that are trying to cause fear, terror and destruction and ask to blow Your Word over it O God -"Be still and know that I am God". Thank You for hope. Thank You for being the Captain of our lives. Thank You for caring for us and keeping Your door open, so that we can come to You at all times. Thank You O Mighty God that we can have peace. Amen."
