Today It Seems Popular To Be A Church Member
by c r morris Today it seems to be popular to be a member of the church which is good. But , as the teacher of this class, I feel compelled by God to tell you the truth that just being a member of a church will not get you into the kingdom of God. Nor will you be accepted by God without accepting His Son as your Savior, the Lord Jesus. This can be found in John 3:16. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus said in John 3:3, you must be born again, and he went on to explain the process. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee. Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Romans 10:9 also explain clearly what it takes to be saved and inherit eternal life, giving the believer an opportunity to have a one on one relationship with the Lord Jesus. Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Copyright 2006 by C.R.
