Liberals in Power
by Stanley Davis

Liberalism in America: could this be one of the downfalls of our country. Webster defines liberalism as; not restricted to literal meaning, broad-minded, tolerant of all others, personal freedom for the individual, and so on. If I were to define it, I would have a few choice words of my own, as I am sure you would. They believe a conservative is close minded and is always trying to push their views on everyone. I only seek the truth and that is what I believe needs to be brought out. But, when I think about the liberal movement I think about the many problems we face in America. They seem to go hand and hand. I understand that the Devil is at work and he is the author of such things, but have you noticed when we have a liberal government we have a liberal country. A country with an attitude of who cares, let it be, what might be right for you may not be right for me? As society tends to move farther away from God, the Church seems to be going along for the ride. One root cause could be a liberal mind. There are many examples of how the liberal mind works, but let's take one of the first laws told to us by God himself, one he asked us to follow, and see what the difference would be from his word to what a liberal receives as a word. Let's take the commandment; "Thou shalt not kill" as a Christian we know what God means by these words. "Do not commit murder", simple right. If you have a liberal mind; you would probably ask;["thou", 'who is he referring to,' "shalt", 'what does this word really mean' "not", could be used as an indirect statement,' "kill" 'what, who, where, when',"? God did not clearly define what he was talking about and thus we can not clearly explain what he meant. We need to ask our president to form a new governmental department and put a czar over it to keep us informed of the developments, and study every word and every letter down to who actually claims God said it. We need to know when this person said these words and to whom he was addressing. What the culture was like at that time and all and all to see if it fits with the system we have in place today. We will see if man's reasoning can figure out what he meant by these words, and to see if the lessons we learn can even explain the existence of a god. We will have to raise funds to keep the program going, so we will use tax money and call it something other than taxes so common people will not know what we are doing. The statement also implies that someone other than ourselves is in charge and we need to see if he or she is competent enough to govern our lives. If so or if not, it is not their fault, it probably comes from one of the parent's genes and he or she can not help but to go along with it. I am sure when we get to the bottom of it all we will find a shell of a being who needs counseling and after a few years we can get him or her back on track with our program]. Now I could go on an on about the liberal view and there ways, which are many, but the truth is we have laws and rules that need to be obeyed. Creating new legislation so I can do what I want and be who I want to be without remorse or correction is absurd. One day we all will stand before God and give an account of our lives whether you believe it or not.
