THE PROBLEM OF THE MEANING OF LIFE
by Gabriel Abina
It is so perplexing how we spend most of our lifetime searching for meaning. At the heart of every shift or change in culture is the search for the meaning of life. The youth in their exuberance have a blurry vision of what it is; while the aged rile in their ravaged frailty for having failed to find it. What really is the meaning of life?

Are We Yet Slaves?
by Dr. William James Carter, The 1st
Must we give our lives for a few comforts and a little pleasure? Must we remain in bondage so as to seal our eternal fate out of the presence of a loving God?

The Third Temple is Being Built By the Anti-Christ
by Roy Francois
Jesus referred to King Solomon's Temple as a house of devils and said it would be destroyed. Any temple that that these apostate Jews build [not all Jews] is still a house of devils. Why are so many Christians helping apostate Israel build the temple of the anti-Christ?

Is It Arrogant for Christians to Claim There Is Only One True Faith?
by Max Aplin
Christians are often accused of being arrogant and narrow-minded for claiming that there is only one true faith. However, the incarnation, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus are so enormously significant, that any religion which does not recognize this has failed spectacularly to understand who God is and what He has done. There can be only one true faith.

The Myth That the Human Race Is Making Moral Progress
by Max Aplin
There are many today who think that the human race is progressing morally. However, this is not supported by events of the recent past or the present day. Placing hope in the moral progress of humanity is pointless. Everyone is under the power of sin, and faith in Jesus Christ is the only solution for this.

God and Time before Creation
by Robert Hawes
"What was God doing in all that time before he created the world?" is a common question. This article answers it based on the available biblical evidence and what we understand of the nature of time.
-
The Justice and Mercy of God
by Max Aplin
Deeply ingrained within us is a sense that just punishment and mercy are good things. The Bible portrays God justly punishing people and also showing mercy to people, and it is not a surprise that a good God would act in these ways. When God punishes, he does so with regrets, but when he shows mercy, he has no regrets.

The Resurrection of Jesus and Probability
by Max Aplin
There are those who argue that Jesus did not rise from the dead by appealing to probability. They claim that because we have such widespread experience of people who die remaining dead, the probability that Jesus rose from the dead has to be extremely small. In fact, this wrongly assumes that arguing from probability carries a fixed amount of weight regardless of what evidence there might be supporting the resurrection. Tangible evidence for Jesusï resurrection severely weakens the argument from probability.

by lareina morgan
There is a thought in the body of Christ that it might be possible to lose your salvation, this articles gives some insight on that thought (or should I say, fear?)
-
Two Things about Atheism That Everyone Should Consider
by Max Aplin
Atheists like Richard Dawkins can often be heard claiming that religion makes good people do bad things. However, in recent history many of the worst atrocities have been committed by atheists, and the fear of God motivates huge numbers of people to do what is right. If the physical universe is all that exists, no human being could ever have made a choice differently than they did, which means that it is illogical to blame anyone for anything. But we have a deep sense that people really are to blame for the evils they commit.
-
What Is the Christian Faith Really All About?
by Max Aplin
There are many who think that the Christian faith is basically about treating people well, motivated in part by the fact that Jesus treated people well. Doing good to people is very important, but this is only a small part of what our faith is all about. In reality, the heart of Christianity is about being saved from sin and hell by the cross of Christ.

Did the Early Christians Really Approve of Slavery?
by Max Aplin
Some non-Christians are put off the Christian faith by what they see as immoral attitudes in the early church towards slavery. Many Christians are also troubled by this issue. However, the persecution that the early Christians experienced made it unrealistic for them to speak out publicly against slavery or to try to reform society in this area. There is one sense in which being a slave is a positive thing: Christians are slaves of God and of Christ.

Most People in Western Countries Completely Misunderstand What Human Beings Are
by Max Aplin
God has supreme authority over us all. However, mainstream Western culture completely misunderstands the place of human beings in the world. This misunderstanding can be seen in attitudes to so-called ïhuman rightsï.

Are the Old Testament and New Testament Portraits of God Contradictory?
by Max Aplin
There are many who say that God is portrayed in the Old Testament as a God of judgment and in the New Testament as a God of love, and that these portraits are contradictory. In fact, in both the OT and the NT God is portrayed on the one hand as a God of love, mercy and kindness, and on the other hand as a God of judgment and punishment. Godïs mercy is not inconsistent with his judgment.

The Bible, Science, and Pseudoscience
by Robert Hawes
The Bible is not a science book. It was written to, and by, ancient peoples who didn't know even a fraction of what we know today, and it often employs poetic language that should not be interpreted literally or as some kind of scientific commentary.

A Very Strong Piece of Evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus
by Max Aplin
In 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 Paul makes a list of people who he says saw the risen Jesus. There are strong reasons for believing that these people really did claim to have seen Jesus after his death. It is highly implausible that many of them were lying. It is just as implausible that many of them were mistaken.

Scripture is Not a Salad Bar
by Alan Allegra
Life may be like a box of chocolates, where you can pick and choose the pieces you like and not unwrap the others, but the Bible is not so. This book is not a salad bar, where you can mix and match the items you like and season it to taste. Moreover, unlike the spinach leaves and yellowing potato salad, the books of the Bible never wilt or go sour.

Proverbs 26:4 tells us not to answer a fool, but verse 5 tells us to answer him. Is this a contradiction, or is there a point may be missing?
