  1. Sabbath AND Sunday by Sandor Balog
On which day of the week should we celebrate our weekly holiday?

  2. Some Comments on Destined to Reign by Joseph Prince and Righteousness and Holiness, Part 4 by Karl Kemp
We will look at quite a few passages of the New Testament which demonstrate that Christians are required to keep the commandments of God's moral law in their daily lives by His enabling grace through the atoning death of the Lamb of God and by the indwelling Holy Spirit. We will discuss 1 Thess. 4:2-8, which is one of a large number of passages which show that biblical holiness includes being set apart from all sin. This is good news! What true Christian wants to be in bondage to sin?

  3. Some Comments on Destined to Reign by Joseph Prince and Righteousness and Holiness, Part 3 by Karl Kemp
Here in Part 3 we look at a large number of passages from the New Testament which clearly demonstrate that we cannot limit the word "righteousness" to a legal positional righteousness for Christians, as Joseph Prince (and many others) does. Some of the passages also demonstrate the need for Christians to keep God's commandments, and that keeping the commandments is a big part of what the word righteousness is all about. It is very important for us to understand righteousness. This is one of the most important words used in the New Testament to speak of our full salvation in Christ.

  4. Some Comments on "Destined to Reign" by Joseph Prince and Righteousness and Holiness, Part 2 by Karl Kemp
We continue our study of Heb. 10:10, 12, 14 in this article. We are discussing the heart of the good news of righteousness, holiness, and victory over sin through the all important atoning death of the Lamb of God and in the outpoured Righteous Holy Spirit. What does it mean for Christians to be sanctified and to be perfected in these verses? Joseph understands these words in a limited, positional sense, like he does with the word righteousness. I believe these studies demonstrate that he is wrong, which is good news. In this article we will discuss Jer. 31:31-34; Ezek. 36:25-27; and Rom. 8:1-4.

  5. Some Comments on "Destined to Reign" by Joseph Prince and Righteousness and Holiness, Part 1 by Karl Kemp
Throughout this article, which is Part 1 of seven parts, I interact with the book "Destined to Reign" by Joseph Prince. I respect Him as a sincere evangelical pastor, but more often than not I disagree with the things he says in this book, things like the word "righteousness" is always used in a positional sense in the writings of the apostle Paul, for example; the Holy Spirit never convicts of sin; He convicts us of our (positional) righteousness; he thinks it produces negative results to preach a series on the Ten Commandments and says, "the Ten Commandments have been made obsolete"; he doesn't believe we should preach on the need for Christians to repent and he says that the progigal son did not repent. However, Joseph is against all sin and believes that Christians can walk with the victory over sin by grace. Throughout these articles we will be discussing key passages of the Bible. Very often I disagree with Joseph's interpretations.

  6. Holiness and Victory Over Sin #6 by Karl Kemp
This is the sixth article in the 28 srticle series titled "Holiness and Victory Over Sin." We will finish the verse-by-verse study of Romans chapter 6 and start a verse-by-verse study of Romans 8:1-17 in this article. Both passages strongly and clearly teach that Christians are enabled and required to walk in the righteousness and holiness of God through the atoning death of Christ and by the indwelling Holy Spirit, by grace through faith.

  7. Holiness and Victory Over Sin #5 by Karl Kemp
This is the fifth article in the 28 article series titled, "Holiness and Victory Over Sin." We will continue with the verse-by-verse study of Romans chapter 6, which is a super-important chapter on this topic. We will spend a lot of time on verse 7 in this article, "For he who has died [to the old man through union with Christ Jesus] is freed from sin."

  8. Holiness and Victory Over Sin #4 by Karl Kemp
This is the fourth article in the 28 article series titled "Holiness and Victory Over Sin." We will begin a verse-by-verse study of Romans chapter 6 in this article. 9. Holiness and Victory Over Sin #3 by Karl Kemp
This is the third article in the 28 article series titled "Holiness and Victory Over Sin." These articles were taken from the written text behind my 28 broadcast audio series titled, "Holiness and Victory Over Sin."
