SOUL DANCE (excerpt) - Is God's Angel Writing a Book About You?

Then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name.“They will be my people,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “On the day when I act in judgment, they will be my own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child.Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not. - Malachi 3:16-18, NLT

Wow, the LORD God of Heaven and earth cares about every word we say! 

Each of us is born with the sin nature, and that is not a positive one. We have to learn to be positive, to be thankful, to think on good things. 

I remember discovering this a few decades ago: When I say good things about the LORD, He hears it, and HIs angel writes them down in a Book of Remembrance! 

God writes books about us! How cool is that?!

When we praise and otherwise bless and honor the Name of the LORD, Jesus Christ, Father God, and the Holy Spirit, Who are One, then the LORD hears it. He honors us who honor Him, by having His angel write down the good things we say about Him. 

He is such a loving Father, a sweet Daddy God. Daddies love it when their kiddos brag on them. 

Let's make a point to be even more thankful to our wonderful Abba Father, Daddy God (He's our Father once we have truly repented of our sins and asked His Son, Jesus Christ, to forgive us and cleanse our hearts, and come into our lives, and be our LORD and Savior, and have confessed Him as such!) - and brag on Him to others, and to Him "alone" (We are never alone. There are always many more with us than we know! 2 Chronicles 32:7). 

When we praise and glorify and bless the LORD, He draws nearer; we become more conscious of His wonderful Presence, and in His Presence is fullness of joy!

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - Psalm 16:11, NKJV

The angels of God write down our words of blessing for the name of the LORD, and who knows? Perhaps those books are read by others already in Heaven.

If you've never had your name in the school yearbook or area newspaper or online, no worries--just brag on the name of the LORD, and your words will be published in an eternal Book above!
