by Rik Charbonneaux

"Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else." Acts 17:25 NIV

Our Father had a perfect concept and breathed it into a glorious existance. His breath* gave to life to all His creation that breathe oxygen and even in the rocks He formed was oxygen given.** From our first breath to our last breath, it is Gods breath that sustains us for His purpose.

God's Breath** - Breathe It In and Breathe It out.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.." 2 Timothy 3:16 NIV

For us, believing is seeing, for it is God's breath that gives knowledge to those who rightly seek it, given by His Spirit of Truth through faith in His Son.

God's Breath - Breathe It In ... Breathe It Out.

"Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last." Luke 23:46 NIV

Our Lord and Savior's last breath on the cross was for our sin debt forever paid, our salvation manifested with His sacrifice accepted as complete.

God's Breath - Breathe It In ... Breathe It Out

"And with that he breathed* on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit." John 20:22 NIV

The breath of Jesus gave sanctification to those He choose to impart the Holy Spirit to from the Father. Those who receive the Holy Spirit are to reflect the will of the One within them.

God's Breath - Breathe It In ... Breathe It Out

"Your omnipresence is marvelous! I breathe and You enter me. I exhale and enter You." Kamand Kojouri, Swansea University, Wales

God's breath empowers the Christian life. Breathe it in ... Breathe it out.

*Many places in the Bible mention the breath of God through the use of the Hebrew word ruach or the Greek word pneuma.

**"Oxygen is critical for life and vital in forming the secondary mineral species. More than half of mineral species have oxygen as part of their chemistry". Article: Oxygen and Our Mineral World, Jan 17, 2022, www.rockngem.com
